I've been notified by another company's law firm that my business name is infringing on their trademark. Most of my business is generated online and the domain name bears the name that's trademarked.

How can I change the domain name without losing business? Does anyone know if I can redirect the domain name to another site? Is that possible? Or do I have to give up the domain name altogether?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I'm almost done working on a new website for my company and would like to test it on you guys. I'm especially interested in how comfortable you feel navigating the site and would be glad to hear good and bad comments as one. Don't be shy to say say what you think.

One last comment, I'm in the stage of adding some pictures to give it some zest so it may look a little boring...

P.S. - I posted this question before before but I'm still interested in more feedback.

Has anyone heard of these people? Their fax looks like a scam, offering buyers in any area, and a no-cost "business analysis"

I know it sounds crazy, but I make duct tape purses, wallets, jewlery, etc. They're kind of punk so it can't be anything like "Creations by Kayla" or anything. What do you think?

Hi all,

My wife has an intenet business selling papercrafting supplies and materials. She is getting lots of e-mails from potential Canadian customers but baffled over the best way to ship there. Also, is there any customs issues we need to be worried about?

I'm not sure that i want it to be a "what you read is what you get" kind of word, as I would like it to be easily brandable and not totally obvious. I think i would like it to be short. I'm thinking of a smart but quirky word...

I suppose this varies. But I am starting a new restaurant and want to give the executive chef profit sharing. The restaurant is small (15-20 tables). What should I expect to share with him? 5%, 10%, 20%, 50%? I am clueless. I want him to be motivated to take care of it like it is his but I don't want to have to give away everything. Also is the profit sharing above and beyond his salary or is that included?

We will be hiring a young lady to do some filing--extremely part time, like 1/2 day now and then. I am looking for a simple (cheap!) software program for figuring her payroll. Any suggestions?

I am trying to determine whether self-employed restaurateurs can outperform the corporate-owned chain restaurants despite the competative advantages that they have (ie. consistent menus, labor policies, and management structure, etc.)
