I'm wanting to move out from my parents house but I just wondered what it costs on average, from rent to bills and what sort of bills come in monthly and what come in quarterly. It would really help to see if i could afford to do it. Many thanks.

We put our house on the market a few months ago - no offers yet. We have since found a new house in another area (we have to move there for work). I would like to refinance our current house to lower the payments because paying two mortgages is not fun. Can I refi if our house is on the market? Any suggestion as to lenders who do this? We have excellent credit - just want to save some money during our transition until the current house sells. Thanks.

when will the media start talking about the real victims? I am not talking about investors, but the people that just want a place for their family, a place to call home...but wait! I guess those people are poor, I guess they can wait (since they don't have a voice)...too bad, no one cares

I own a duplex and each one is converted into 2 units. In other words, I rent out 4 small apartment units. I receive $825 per unit a month but don't currently work. The mortgage payment is $3325 a month which means I don't make any profit on the mortgage. I recently paid about $7000 dollars for the annual taxes. Will I be receiving any tax returns?

My sister and I will have to sell my dads house because he has passed away and my mom is in a nursing home now. We don't have much time because we will have to use the money from the house to pay her nursing home bill. Any suggestions or web sites to help us to sell this ourselves? Or is it better to get a real estate agency in on this. The house is free of liens and paid off years ago. Any suggestions will help as I don't know where to begin. Thanks.

I live in a small apartment complex and our neighbors have more or less taken over the whole front and back areas of my complex.

In the front they are always taking the prime parking spots. Since we work we can only get parking spots at night. Since they most likely do not work or work loser jobs with various hours they are always getting the best parking spots. Plus to ad to the bs they often times have a friend over to "hold" the best parking spaces. A frined will come over and get the best parking spaces and then "release" this space to the person(s) who live there. How crappy is that?

In the back they have taken over the area with several bbq's a ping pong table, a pool table etc. They say it makes the common area "cool". Well it is not "cool" for us becasue we are not drunks.

Help!

I signed a ton of papers in March to buy a new built home.... Now with the market, I can't afford it... What can I do??? I signed at 6.5% and if it went over 1% I could get out. Well they are telling me it is 7.25% (wow only .25% away). I am willing to lose my 1.7K deposit if I can just walk away from this... Anyone have any experience or anything with this? Is there a way I can walk from my builder?

I have invested money into condo, but money has gone to someone I have feelings for. He is 30years younger than me.
Under his credit loan was given, and condo title is under his name. I don't have paper work of lending/investing the money to him. I don't have contract. But I do have banking history of wiring the money into his bank account. He is saying money is given as gift of funds, and spent in buying a condo.
If I take him to court, can I win this case? Can I be part owner of the condo? do I have right to live in the condo he bought?

I saw an ad on Craig's List recently offering a townhouse in my area for "take-over payments." What kind of process is this and what are the risks?

$12,000 in credit cards. We have about $28,000 in savings at the moment and are trying to move to San Antonio, Texas. We can pay off the credit cards and rent for a year which would have done but we are having non money related renting complications (totally different issue- no comments on it please!!) or we can pay off some of the credit card debt and put down 2,000- 10,000 dollars. Also, what is considered a good interest rate on home (mortgage) loan? Only serious answers please!! :) We have average credit (we are 20 and 21) and make between 3.000- 7,000 a month. (self employed) verifiable by bank statements.

I am 100% owner of the condo, and the person doesn't have a lease agreement to stay at my place from me. Here is the twist to the situation, she has sent me money before as gift of funds, and I bought a condo with that money. She did not lend/
invest money plus she doesn't have any contract or paper work
signed by me. Like I mentioned it was given as gift of funds, because she wanted me to stay at a comforting place. After I bought the place, she did visit the place and has obtained a key from me.
Next thing I know she has been invading into my life; checking
my phone bills, watching who I meet and etc. So when she
left for temp. I changed the locks and left her belongs with
security in my building.
Recap above situation is that she was like a mother figure, but later I found out that she had feelings for me. She was trying to
buy my life with money. She gave me the money has gift and now she wants it back without any paper work. Do I have right to kick her out of my place

I think he planned to screw us from the beginning. We moved in 6 months ago and it takes about that amount of time for a bank to forclose. He tried to flip this house but no one bought it. I guess he was making back a little bit on us. He'll probably keep our security deposit too. I'll call a lawyer Monday but can anyone tell me now... What should I do??
