to avoid foreclosure, If I have signed a forebarence agreement with my lender, for repayment of three months behind, can I refinance and avoid the high interest on the repayment agreement, which is about twice what my monthly payment was originally , and the plan is for six months ,I have found someone that will refinance the loan.

I can't imagine having to pay interest for six months if I can refinance, I was originally paying $2700, however the repayment is for $3900,with a $9000 down payment. If i was having trouble paying the original, how do they expect me to be able to pay that much more , and call it forebarence help ?

Will I have to pay the interest for the six months , or just that untilI I refinance or sell ? I have already paid the $9000 and the 2nd payment is due shortly.

My rent is $1000 a month. There is one single lady, a married couple and myself. Should I only charge rent per individual or consider them one tenant and collect rent divided by 3? The couple will have a master bedroom as well. Utilities are included in rent.

Hi. We signed the contract for buying a townhouse in Texas, which our lot hasn't build yet, since the lost has to sold 75% of the house, which is 4 townhouses...I just notice that they drop the price for the house than the one we have signed...Is it possible to get the lowest price or back out and do all documents again? Thanks

My real estate agent told me i'm being too picky but i feel if i'm paying for something i'm going to live the rest of my life in shouldn't it be something i'm 100% happy with??

Help! I am in a mess. My old landlord claims I left the apartment a mess...I live in Tennessee...I had a 350 deposit and they claim damages came to 469 dollars. I took 3 days out of my schedule to clean the entire apartment so I could get my money back... it was in perfect condition when I left...I cleaned every cabinet, every appliance, every toilet, wall...door...and I have been charged crazy amounts. I received a list in the mail today of charges but it was very vague. It stated for example ''appliance/kitchen cleaning-130 dollars" and when I called to be given a more specific reason, the lady refused because I did not go to the walk out inspection she said I gave up any rights to dispute by not coming to the inspection. At the time I was moving out, they were fine with me not showing up...they didnt mention any of this to me!..it also took 47 days for her to get the letter out to me. Is there anything I can do?? I know this isnt right and I am being screwed..

I signed an application for an apartment and paid $100 to reserve the apartment. I specifically asked for the first floor.
After I signed the contract with the first floor on it and became approved for the apartment, they immediately changed me to the second floor without my permission. In fact, they left a voice message after closing letting me know I am on the 2nd floor.
Is this illegal? I signed a contract and paid $100 for the first floor to be reserved.

Are quick claim deeds legal in the state of Texas? My brother in law is trying to get us to sign a paper saying that we have no interest in his property. He wants us to sign this paper without any attorneys involved and I do not trust him. I think he is trying to get a loan against the home he is living in (there was no will left by the parents so this is why things are being handled this way) Please all you lawyers in Texas please educate me. And by the way ... can an individual acquire a warranty deed or special warranty deed by themselves or do have to go through court when there is no will.

The Landlord instructed us to drop our rent check through a mail slot in a certain apartment and said the she will pick it up from there. On Nov 1st I dropped my rent check for November in the way instructed. Now she says that I have not paid and that I am in arrears. This check has not come into my account yet. I wrote a letter offering to send another check if she has misplaced it. I think she is trying to evict me as she can give this apartment out at a much higher rental. I think this is dishonesty and a deceptive business practise. What shall I do ? I do not have money to retain a lawyer.

I cosigned with my mom to get a house about 10 years ago. She refinanced a few years back and we thought my name was no longer on it but last week it was discovered that I'm still on the title. Now she is selling the house, my concern is, with the profit she is making from the house--will I be liable for any part of it on my income taxes since my name is on the title?

I took out a mortgage loan with a lender and was swindled out of $34,000 which was my down payment. This was all of the money that I had saved all my life. I was buying my dream house. I have searched the NC laws and now know that my claim is valid. I cant afford an attorney and Legal Aid wont help me because I am a homeowner and hold a bank account and a job (part-time very low paying). I need a copy of my mortgage closing docs for the loan in order to prove my case. I also need the assistance of an attorney to write the letters on my behalf. I am willing to pay a fee of $500 out of proceeds received. I live in NC. Do you know of anyone qualified that will help me? I am willing to give you my e-mail address. vtimlic2002@yahoo.com May I have yours?

I moved in the beginning of November. Besides the cockroaches in the kitchen and ants in the bathroom (and other various issues), the worst thing is the upstairs neighbors are inconsiderate clods who walk like Clydesdales when they're home. Sometimes it's as if they're having a ho-down up there. They have zero consideration that someone lives below them and it's literally unbearable living there. I want out but I still have 11 months on my lease. There's no way I could still live there for another 11 months, I get headaches from the pounding. My landlord STILL hasn't given me a copy of my lease ("I have to go through paperwork" he says). I know I can't just leave and I want all my deposit back. The landlord is like a car dealer, he's a shady character with a fake smile who never gives an honest answer about anything, besides being an irresponsible buffoon. What are my options here?

Features like interior "bridges," loads of built-in shelving, open-concept peculiarities, etc, look fantastic to me, but I can see how they might look a little odd to others.

This is a got-a-full-page-in-the-housing-section-of-the-local-paper "unique" house.

Are there any rules of thumb vis-a-vis just going with square footage, given that "artistic" house touches add value to some people but decrease it to others to the extent where it ends up as neutral?

It's one thing to compare standard houses where you can say "den, dining room, 4 bedrooms, etc...", but I have no idea where one even starts estimating the value of something like an attached log cabin.

Any thoughts?
