I recently purchase a home 6 months ago. 6.75% fixed 30 yrs. Im joining the military and may be stationed over seas within the next 6 months. My question is should i Sell the home or rent it out. My and my wife are new home owners and not sure what to do. She wants to sell it. I want to rent it. What would be more productive?

If anyone knows of an attorney that is generous to waive the 30% weekly in Lousiana. I would be very grateful. I tried and can't seem to find one that is willing to do so. THANKS!!!

Hey There,i want to know if the figure i have been given on the PTD is what i will recieve from the housing benefit?
They gave us the figure of £368.00 a month and the rent is 400,which is fine, But what im now wondering now i have moved into the flat is will i actually Recieve that much or could it be less than that figure?
I am on Jobseekers allowance and if they gave me less than that me and my boyfriend simply couldnt afford the rent.
I know alot of people will say why dont you get a job,and i do want a job i have been looking but i cannot enter a job until i recieve my housing benefit which is taking up2 8 weeks to fully complete and if my circumstances change which they would if i got a job i would have to resumbit my form which would take another long wait so i have to wait until my claim is sorted so i can pay the next months rent at least before i can enter work. This is what the housing office has advised me to do anyway.
Thanks
Joanne x

It is a long story but we have had many many problems with our current apt. complex. To sum it all up quickly, we were waiting for our renewel notices because our lease was up. We were told we would have plenty of time, to get our renewel and decide if we wanted to stay, or not and be able to give notice to vacate. Well turns out we keep complaining and complaining wanting our notice to see how much our rent was going to go up. Well we get it and it is way to late and we dont like the rate, so we tell them we would like to move out. Now they are telling us we have to pay all of december, and now we can't get the house that we had found. I have witnesses that heard them say we can wait 5 days to give notice if we want to move out after we get the renewel rate. Now we have to have 30. I was md and just paid them the 1088 dollars for 26 days in december, but now regret it. These people are crooks and idiots who dont know what the other said. Is there anything that I can do??

mines not much better but on our next mortgage i would like my fiancee to be on it, of course the rate will be high and money will need to be put down but whats the average mortgage amount that people with scores of 590 and 630 with an income of only 75,000 can get?we just bought a piece of property which i heard is good cause it can be used as a down payment PLUS when we sell our current house we should have an additional 15,000 to put down also...this helps right? im just looking for a ballpark figure to give us an idea.

I'm moving in 2 wks and have so much to do and try to remember that I do. If you have recently moved, what should I make sure to do or not to do? When do I fill out the change of address form at the post office? When to call about utilities, etc.

Strapped for cash to move, I need to know if I can receive the downpayment the buyers makes on my house before closing so I can schedule moving out with a mover and pay the rent on the house I'm moving into in advance of my move.

I have an apartment on my credit for over 3,000 dollars how do I get another apartment without having the landlord hold such an amount against me? I dont have a problem paying rent now because I am not in the same situation but I want to be convincing to a landlord that they will get their money on time.

I know that this is a repeat question, but the answers are not too clear. I am considering a move to Manhattan from Philly, and I have the following unanswered questions: -Knowingly, rent is high. With that said, where would a single 30 y/o want to live that is close to a park (dog walking) and has a decent night life? -I am not opposed to live in the boroughs, and it appears that Queens or Brooklyn would be an option. Where would you advise living (using the same criteria above)? -What is considered "average rent" in the boroughs? There are many listings in the classifieds, but it is hard to judge what is considered a bargain. I am looking for a 1 bdrm, and am willing to spend around $2000/mth. I find many apts in the range, but dont know what neighborhoods would be ok. -Broker fee, no broker fee, flex, coop--I'm confused. -Simply put, if you could do it again, what kind of general advise can you give to another transplant to the area?

Thanks!

We live in a two-bed flat in East Dulwich South London and want a house with a garden. We can can't afford similar in our area. My baby needs a safe place to play when she's older. I need to be at my desk in Central London by 7am and my husband needs to start his job in Herne Hill by 4am on public transport. We can afford a mortgage of £900 a month. We have no plans to have any more children. Any suggestions from Estate Agents or property locators welcome.

basically the mortgage company told him they need the w-2 in order to go forward. I told him its not a good idea but he is so fixated on getting that house. He wants to use a fake statement for last year. I have a terrible feeling he will get caught and be in trouble with IRS. does someone know if they check w-2 statements in the mortgage process
