there are no inexperienced agents at remax. it costs too damn much for desk fees.
c21 is as company that actively recruits new agents. after the agents get good they go to remax because they put a bunch more money in their pocket.
i sold full time for 6 years, if i ever needed an agent i would go to remax.
this doesn't mean that c21 doesn't have good agents. it means that the percentage of seasoned agents is way lower than remax.

Re/Max agents in most offices have to cover their own expenses. I don't know if that applies to the C21 guys.
Typically, this means that Re/Max agents have enough experience and business to take on the risk of paying their own way in their company, in return they get higher commission rates. If you aren't selling any houses, you can quickly lose your tail though.
Teran said it well though. Hire the person, not the company. No one but the agent you directly work with will have any bearing on your transaction. Listing your home with one company vs. another should also have zero impact. Listing with one agent vs. another, potentially big impact.
Meet 3-5 agents. Anyone who doesn't hand you the agency disclosure in the first few minutes of talking, end the conversation. That's their first rule, and most break it. They have to stop everything and give it to you at "first substantive contact", basically when you start talking about hiring them.
Eventually you'll find one or two that you really have confidence in, then you make your choice.

Both have excellent Realtors working there. Also, both have terrible Realtors working there.
EVERY OFFICE IS INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND OPERATED.
With McDonald's, you can grow up in Indiana, and order fries while driving though Texas and know what to expect. With Realtors, you can talk to one agent in an office and then talk to another in the same office and get a totally different experience.
DO NOT HIRE A REAL ESTATE COMPANY OR LOGO.
Hire a Realtor. That's one person.
