Heres my situation I have managed to save approximately $5500 for a home and I have another $2800 on its way from my tax return and I want to start looking this summer, also I owe approximately $10000 at 5.9% interest on my car. Would it be in my best interest to pay off the car loan, try and combine the loans if I find a home and keep the cash for a down payment or for fixing up my house or maybe to keep the loans seperate and wait and see what I find first? I have excellent credit also if that helps. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I've sold Visa gift cards on eBay and it boggles my mind that people pay more than face value for the gift cards. Right now, there is a $200 card selling for $300+!

My question is, why would you pay so much more for such a card? I noticed that most of the people who bid on my card were people from outside the US, so does it have anything to do with currency exchange rates or wanting to avoid some sort of extra fees? That could have made sense, except that people are paying WAY more than face value.

So what is going on? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

the company that does our payroll, garnished 90% of my check and claims that they cant do anything about this incedent anymore! Felt I had no choice but to except it and was left to struggle during x-mas time. They heard me I made sure of that! Well here I am 2 month later and once again I find my-self being put in the same spot!!!!!!!! Please if any one has any legal suggestion's of how to address this situation so that I can not be put in this mess and maybe have this company feel the same as they have done to me or just simply answer to the errors they continue on making, so that they dont do this to any one else again, i would be so thankful to any ideas or suggestions.

In late December, I withdrew $400 from my savings account, added another $100, and bought a $500 money order from the bank where I have the account. Now, I realize that I have no idea what happened to that money order, nor do I have the receipt. Does the bank have a record of it, and if it isn't cashed, can I recoup the loss? Or am I simply out $500?

How do I need to complain Washington Mutual's stupid insulting?
My wife opended on-line free checking account at Washington Mutual few month ago. The bank service is terrible and ridiculous. The worst thing was that they closed her account simply because she didn't sign the beck of her check when she deposited her check into ATM. Then they distributed this to other banks and ask not to set up account for my wife. We just found this because her new bank (Wells Fargo) said that they need to close her account yesterday. We complained for this at Washington mutual this morning and they said my wife volunteerly closed the account and they don't know what's going on. My wife checked again in other local back to set up her checking account and they said that Washington Mutual circulated my wife name to all banks not to set up her account.
This is ridiculous to me. What's wrong with Washington Mutual? I consider this serious insult and am ready to fight. Any advie to my family?
