I've heard people complain they've been short-changed at Commerce Bank after they pour their spare change in? Does Commerce automatically take a percentage, are the machines not that accurate or what?

If you had loans both secured and unsecured, would you get an attorney for bankruptcy or what would you do in this case:

Liabilities and expenses exceed your net income
constantly refinancing to stay above water

It is true! I have inherited some money, won a lawsuit, and my investments are paying off!! I have been poor my whole life except for the past 2 years. I have bought a house, car, and a plasma t.v. It seams I have everything, and couldn't be happier. My friends just say to keep saving it. I don't know what to do now!

If someone you knew
a) didn't have or want kids
b) owned a home outright (worth not millions, but enough to live off the profits if it had to be sold) in a really affluent area.
c) didn't have to pay property tax on house, insurance on car, or the car they drive (a porsche)
d) didn't have to pay for food or any other daily items.
e) was able to spend $5 or $7,000 on clothes and other gifts.
f) doesn't work at all except volunteer work
g) was able to afford maybe 1 vacation a year ($3,000)
h) no other bills or debt

I know someone like this (not me, I wish!) & she insists she is not rich (because she still has a budget) but she seems pretty rich to me.

This lady is very very smart, she went to an Ivy League school & has a graduate degree also.

I want to move my current account from Abbey as their call centre is now based in Bangalore and I have had numerous bad experiences with them.

This is my primary driver for moving, as their online service offering is actually very good.

Any advise appreciated...

I had a garage built and then lost my job so I got another mortgage including the garage. Well I was not aware it was an interest only mortgage until this year when I found out the mortgage company didn't pay my home owners insurance. I called the mortgage company to ask why they are not paying my home owners insurance they say we are not responsible for it! I asked why and this is when they say because you have an "interest only mortgage" for the next 10 years! They won't give me any help, so I am seeking help as to how to get out of this ripe off mortgage. I did have my house for sell however I got a job so I can stay here, however the princple is getting bigger and bigger and my payments are going for interest only. Any suggestions please.

It's a trick. If you won, why would you have to send any money?

My mother passed away 4 years ago, and I just remembered that she had a 401k plan because it was listed on her paycheck statement (I'm assuming she had the plan, why else would it be on there with an amount next to it right?). Well what happens to that saved up money? Does the company keep it or they just let it float around? I only ask because if anything it's still my mothers money and technically would belong to her family...so how would one go about claiming it?

now exhausted. Do I need to sell my house right away, or get a second job? I cannot get a home equity loan now and I have a substantial amount of other debt. Is there anyway to predict how long I have before I'm bankrupt? Is brankruptcy a possibility if one has an income from a trust?

I'm looking for a personal loan to pay off my credit cards, but I've been having difficulty getting a loan. My credit score is 560 with some history (3 months ago) of late payments, but I have a very steady job and I was wondering if there were any places that did such a thing.

My situation is this. My mom wants to go through a divorce from my dad after being separated (not legally) for more than 6 years. All this time my mom has been paying off mortgage payments for the house herself among other bills. If they go through the divorce process, can my dad legally get a piece of the house when my mom sells it? Can anyone shed some light in this.

Hello my girlfriend owes about $30,000 on a school loan which has a 19% interest rate, She got suckered into one of those art schools for fashion and graphic design but cannot get a job now.

Question, is it possible to take out a loan or combination of loans to pay of the school loan and or file bankruptcy? Or will there be some kind of trace or signature identifying the debt as school loan debt. I am in no financial situation to pay off 30k in loans off. Other factors are we have virtually no assets other than my car which is worth maybe $8000.

If she were to file bakruptcy prior to getting married would it affect my credit or just hers? and any suggestions on what route to take would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
