Instead of the combined income, the couple, taking out a loan and paying back a certain sum, is it possible for both parties to take out a separate loan for a lesser sum - coming to a larger sum when combined - and paying their separate loans back separatly so that payments are less of a drain on the income?

simple example: instead of 1 x $100 paying back $30
you take 2 x $75 paying back $12 x 2

Possible if you end up living together?

Soon I might be living by myself, my bf or whatever told me two weeks ago that he didn't love me anymore, atleast not for two years out of the five we've been together, and that he was moving to nc. I had two jobs but lost one because the place was going to close, so I now have $900 a month approx. to live on. My apartment is a loft, and it is $585. I want to start going to school again too, so this makes it harder, plus he wants to sell the car before he goes. Telling me to keep the deposit he spent on the apartment when we moved in, and leave the bed and stuff like that he bought so I wouldn't be "out in the dirt". Later saying that he planned to figure out how he felt while he was gone, and was going to send for me because he knows he will miss me, and he might end up realizing he really does love me afterall. He was a little drunk when he told me, but told me again the next day sober. But I don't know.

I need a car, cheap bills, and I don't spend alot on groceries, any ideas?

I am a 45 year old disabled LPN. My husband has wracked up a credit card amount of $3000. I have always paid my bills on time since I got away from him but he somehow got one of the older cards that still had his name on it and used it. I just want to get this paid and cancel this card. It's the only one left that still had his name on it. I've tried borrowing the money but since i'm disabled, I can't get a loan, even though, I have a monthly income to pay a loan back. It doesn't work that way in the banking world. Any ideas??? I saw on one of these familiar questions answered, that said, "you could model nude, do light porn, and make some money". Well, First, I don't believe in what pornogrophy stands for and secondly, I really don't think I'm the kind of girl they'd be looking for. LOL. I could sell my car (it's paid for) but it's the only transportation I have. This credit card was a build your credit back type of card. I haven't missed any payments yet & hope it doesn't come to it

I AM NOT PLANNING TO DO THIS. IT IS JUST FOR MY KNOWLEDGE.
1. An American credit card can be used in most countries in the currency of the foreign country.
2. An American check can be written in American dollars and used in a foreign country assuming someone will accept it and is willing to pay any charges.
3. So could I just cross off the word dollars and change it to something else and use it. This is assuming someone would accept it and is willing to pay any charges at their end. Just what are the legalities? Couldn't a bank just handle the exchange in the same manner as credit cards? Obviously there would be a service charge at this end.

The house is completely paid for. He's unable to work and is not yet receiving social sercurity, although the application is being processed. The mortgage companies will finance a reverse mortgage when the applicant reaches 62. Chronologically he is 55, physically the doctors have put him closer to 70 due to his many, many health and mental conditions.

My husband and I are going on a Mission Trip to Mexico around Christmas. This will be our 3rd trip. It will cost us each $895, for a total of $1790.

Do you know of any fund-raising ideas that we can pull off with very little effort/funds of our own? I'd like to get started as soon as possible. We just purchased a home, we will be moving in about 2 weeks, school just started- I teach 2nd Grade, and I'm starting my Master's college courses Oct. 4th. We are busy!

Last year we held a bake sale at Church and made about $300. We plan on doing that again. The rest of the money we just got from begging basically, by sending out a newsletter informing family, friends, and co-workers about our mission, what we were going to be doing, and how they could help.

If you have any ideas that would be so helpful. I get tired of just asking people to donate. I know it is for a good cause, but it seems like pulling teeth, especially around Christmas, so if we could start early, it would help
