The customer used many different cards. I suspected him of fraud and informed the bank. They told me not to worry. Now they have come back to me a week later and after more transactions and said it was fraud and they want the money off me. It seems unfair that I should lose up to 30,000 pounds when I told them my suspicions and they told me not to worry. I would like to know how I can prevent the bank from taking all the money off me. The ttransactions were done mainly by phone.

I purchased an item on ebay on friday evening through paypal and i received confirmation to my email, on my paypal account it reads TRANSACTION COMPLETE & PAYMENT STATUS complete. Another e-mail from the seller reads:

- Your payment has been received for Item # 150068640448
and
- We will send you another email when we ship the item.Thank you !

And i received the last e-mail that reads:

Dear ****
We have packed your eBay UK Item # 150068640448 To:

>>Our postal pickups are Monday-Friday at 2pm.<<

Please allow 3-5 working days after despatch (excluding Sat/Sun/Bank Hols

Now,does this really mean that the money has been deposited into their account? because I have checked my bank account several times and no money has been taken out; this worries me since it's my first time doing this "ebay purchase and paypal payment" thing.

Can anyone give me detailed and informative reply PLEASE!

In all the cases that they pulled my credit report is when I specifically declined to authorize a new pull. I would fax them my most current report with a contigency that I will authorize a new pull only if I was satisfied with their loan prequalification. this wasn't done and yet they proceeded .

I'm new to this whole loan thing. My husband and I are up to our ears in debt. We don't own a home. We are on our local Credit Union's site and trying to figure out what kind of loan we will be able to get. Under Consumer Loans there are 2 types. A Share Loan which the APR ranges from 12.25%-18%, and a 90% Share Loan which has a rate of 3.25%. What is the difference, I am so confused. 12.25%-18% doesn't really seem like it would save us THAT much money. Thanks!

I took out a $2300 payday loan about a year ago and I have been paying $215/month service fee and I am no longer able to pay the service fee. I stopped paying the service fee approximately 2 months ago and needless to say they are calling me endlessly. I know it was stupid but I really needed the money at the time. As you can see I have paid $2150 in service fee and still owe the original loan for $2300. My question is what happenns if I cant or dont want to pay any further. Can they garnish my paycheck, etc??

I recently was approved for an apartment but needed a guarantor. The guarantor went through the credit check and was approved, but now is worried that being a guarantor will effect their credit, that the rent for the apartment will appear on their credit report as a debt, etc. What is the rule here? Is the rule different state-to-state? If it won't appear on their financial records, how can I prove to them that it won't and make them feel safe about being a guarantor? All that's left to do is sign the lease...

Here's the situation: my credit rating is poor. I have a few charged off credit cards from my early college years. HOWEVER, I do have one credit card that I have never even been late. Also, I have some student loans that have perfect payment history.

BUT my rating is still too low. What should I do? I know that paying off charged off accounts will adversely affect my credit. So...how can I improve it now? Will secured credit cards work? What else? Thanks!

It's for a first time home buyer in Illinois. I know to expect a high interest rate if it is, in fact, possible, but just wondering if there really are banks out there that would take a chance.

I have a private loan from school that has a minimum payment of $608.00 a month. Only $25.00 of that goes to the base balance so I'll be paying it off well after I'm 100 years old! This makes no sense to me and the company won't budge. Whats the best way to pay this off? Should I get another loan from a bank and pay that company off? Don't let your kids go to art school if you're poor T_T
