I ask this because most lender said I have to refinance my 1st in order to pay off my 2nd, but if I do that because of my low credit score my interest will go way up and it will double what I am paying now. Is there a solution?

When I view my report, I find a list of creditors pulling my report for whatever reason. I don't think its fair that people can pull your credit report anytime they feel like it. I've noticed that I also get a bunch of junk mail from some of these same people. What can I do to stop them from getting my information without my permission?

hi, i just turned 18, never had any credit cards, never paid any bills, and i applied online for my bank of america student card, however, i was denied even though i met the qualifications, so i reapplied again online, i was wondering if doing this would bring my credit score down even though i dont have a "credit score" to begin with.

Thanks in advance

My brother co-signed on a car for our trouble-making youngest brother. Troublemaker totaled the car and refuses to help pay back the loan.

Good brother in bad financial bind at moment, job just cut back on hours, has debt and can't afford the payments. He stopped paying a few months ago, credit rating at 400 now.

Loan is willing to offer new loan at better rate with co-signer. However no one is willing or is not able to assist.

He also recently enlisted in air force and will be shipped off to bootcamp in 6 months.

Really want to avoid bankruptcy, any other options?

SBI Credit card has unjustly levied interest although all payments are made in full within stipulated due dates. Request to reverse the interest charge has still not been rectified although help-line personnel are assuring me of such reversal.

I have $8,000 on my credit card, what would happen if I died, obviously I can pay my bill if I'm dead and its not like they could make my parents or anyone else pay it off, if its not in their name. What do they do. Do they just suck it up?

The debt is not huge but the monthly payments are more than I can afford. If I pay less, I might as well throw my money away as it does not reduce the debt but just keeps down a small amount of interest (not much). I still get fees, etc. I might as well pay nothing and use the money for necessary expenses. I am thinking to let them sue me as I feel I have a better chance in court than the company given my unavoidable medical expenses.

Two of my credit card bills are due on the 31st. I get paid on the 1st only. Can I request to have my due dates changed so that I don't have to worry if I will have the money to pay my bill?

I have one payment left on a high interest credit card and then it'll be payed off. I also pay a $50 annual fee with or without money owed (got the card when I was younger with no credit to my name). I know that paying it off and not closing it will up my credit score, but do you think it's really worth 10-20 points when I still have to pay the annual fee when I'm not even using the card?
