I filed bankruptcy and it was dischrged in May of 2005. Since then i financed a vehicle (at a ridiculous interest rate) for which all payment have been on time for more than 18 months. I have joined to credit Unions, and have taken and paid off a loan without any late payments ffrom one of them. I have also obtained a secured credit card for which payments have been triple the minium payment and on time for more than 6 months.

After all of this my credit score is still not high enough to purchase a home, my score has only risen slightly.

I have also challenged and had some of the derrogatory credit removed with disputes to the three credit bureaus. Now what? Do I just need to maybe wait one more year and keep trying to build credit or should I call it quits for 8 more years?

I want to rent a car for my sister and her husband to visit my family in pensacola. She does not have a credit card or a lot of money to put down, so I wanted to see if I can rent a car for her with my card or the like without being in the same location as her?

Pending Charges are new credit card transactions that have been authorized but have not yet been posted to your account. These transactions have been subtracted from your Available Credit but have not yet been added to your balance. Pending charges may not post to your account or may post for a different amount and therefore can not be disputed.

we are trading in an '05 nissan suv for an 07' murano- and are paying 3000 to get out of the lease which is what we would be paying if we owned it still. the nos. seem to work- and murano is much better on gas- and more comfortable for my husband who is 6'5. the payments are just 10.00 more per month.

I have an outstanding payment of a cell-phone bill - a service which was not provided in the final months - and am being told to pay up the 230.00 dollar payment.
The questions are: Should I pay up?
Should I argue with FIDO?
Will cops show up at my front door?

I've never cosigned for anything with anyone so I'm not sure what to do. She's asked her parents and they've said no. My mom advised me not to do it. The loan is 4000, however she can't get it on her own. I'm not sure what to do.She promised to make all the payments on time etc etc, however I'm still not too sure. I told her I'd think about it and get back to her. I take really good care of my credit, pay my bills on time etc etc and I really don't want to mess it up. She told me that I'm her last hope, and I feel bad but I"m not sure if I'm willing to risk my credit in the process.. I'm thinking I'd rather my cousin stop talking to me than my credit getting f'd up. What should I do? Is this a disaster waiting to happen? I'm curious to read your opinions on it and any horror stories if possible.. Thanks in advance everyone :).

both hubby & I had filed for bankruptcy 3 yrs ago. Business failure, overdrawn credit cards, debts & pregnant at that time costed me my job. From dual to single income, everything starts crashing down like a card houses.
Now our kid is 3 yrs old & we are really frustrated as being a bankrupt in SG is worse than being a serial killer! 3 yrs being a failure had damaged our self esteem, confidence & spirit that we had lost all our drive to get up & face the world.
How can we get out of this?????
