Let's be very clear. Some people have suggested freecreditreport.com and they are WRONG! The only website to view your credit report for free is annualcreditreport.com - it is operated by the government.

Also note, that website will only give you a CREDIT REPORT, not a FICO CREDIT SCORE. If you want your FICO CREDIT SCORE, you need to visit a different website. Read the details at the attached website link below...

You can start at FTC.gov. There is link there. You can get one bureau per year from each of the three companies.

go to freeannualcreditreport.com you can get a free one every year if you live in certain states.
