I read an article in the newspaper about people who are claiming back years of unfair bank charges from their bank....has anyone here done this..and if so, did you get your money back?

Write to your bank requesting your past 5 years statements, will cost about a tenner. Then write back, highlighting every bank charge in the statements, stating you wish to claim back. You will recieve the funds in about 6 weeks. Did it. Got £800!

No, I even have consistently drawn my very own money from my financial enterprise so have never had financial enterprise costs. With the push of economic enterprise clientele dashing to reclaim costs they have had made on them via fact of their irresponsible behaviour their is now a flow to make all individuals having to be charged for the banks to deal with our financial concerns.

There was a class action law suit against Wells Fargo for this. However, most of the money went to the lawyers.

I succesfully did that as the dummies at HSBC thought Eurocheques where foreign cheques and charged too much..although I entered ponds as the currency and needed to be treated like any other Uk cheque.

Maybe through class action suits. But you will never see the money. Crooked lawyers.

yep you can go back six years if you think that you have been overcharged...I know I have but its making the time to do something about it..
