I didn't have a job for a couple of months. I tried to call the credit company and explain my situation and they did not care. Now they are killing me with fees. I have a job now but like I said they are killing me with fees and raised the minimum amount I had to pay each month. I would like to know if these companies hurt your credit and can they help me?

Can you also tell me how you use one? like how long you have to pay it back, do you get charged interest? How does it work? I've only heard that it's about a month's time and if you pay before the date, you dont get charged interest. but I have no idea how you pay it back? Thank you~

Well, i still owe some phone bill money it's been almost like 4 years. My state SOL is almost up in a couple months. They haven't sued me so I'm ok for now. I don't need my credit for anything for the next 3 years. I want to just wait until it get clear from my credit report after 7 years. What will happen to my score right after 7 years when the collection account is off from my report. Do I have to rebuild my credit again? or I will have 750 score after 7 years? thanks

I closed my checking acct with a zero bal. at the end of the month & this month receive a bank statement showing (- $37.50) in my account. I was surprised because I had to go to a special employee who closes accts. Today I find out after but after speaking with the 3rd tier supervisor, my account was never closed due to a coding error & there was a $10.00 automatic payment made on my behalf (in which the bank said I should be grateful to them for making it) However since it was their mistake they will happily refund all the charges except for the $10.00. I told them without any money in my acct and the acct closed they shouldn't have paid the creditor and it was their mistake & that they should reverse all the charges. She told me that I should have called my creditor & tell them to stop billing them. If I do not pay the $10 in 160 days they will send me to their collections dept. My credit is great! can they mess up my credit with this. It is not the money it is principal

I run a business, and I plan to spend more than $25,000 annually. I was wondering if I could be invited to get the legendary American Express Black Centurion, or is there no such thing as American Express Black Centurion for small business?

I am almost 7 years out of BK as of March '07. I have a car loan and a couple low limit but hight interest credit cards that I have paid on religiously since.
I keep looking for better deals, but anytime I apply I get bankruptcy as the reason for denial.
How long will it take for me to get back to where I was. I had perfect credit before a personal and financial breakdown.
Please only answer if you really know what your talking about. Thanks!
