If you have to wait 90 days to allow them to charge your credit card, then you shouldn't be buying an iPod... you should save that money, and pay down your credit card.

Absolutely no one will part with something costing £100-£1000 with just the promise of processing payment in 3 months time. That just won't work.

What if your card details changed or it was a fake card or reported lost? It's too big a risk for retailers.
