No credit card for you. You have already proved that you have done a botched up job of budgeting and managing your finances.

Any credit card you may get now will be at such a high interest rate that all you will be doing is making the banks portfolio look better.

My suggestion is to get what is called a secured account where you keep a certain amount of money in the bank and the bank lets you borrow your own money at a lesser interest rate.

But the thing is don't use it. You should only use a credit card to secure a hotel room or rental car etc. Pay in full with cash only.

If you don't have the money, you shouldn't be thinking of spending $$$ for things you can't pay for.

Get a secured credit card. You deposit into an account that is cash backed equal to the credit limit on the card or have a co-signer on the card to guarantee payment.

Try to get one with as low an interest rate as possible, obviously to save money. Don't fall for the ones you get in the mail that look good--most of them have incredibly high interest rates (up to 30% or higher), and many hidden charges.

Do an investigation of different cards, and then choose the best one and apply. Try to make sure you have a reasonable chance of being approved, though. Because if you're denied, it goes on your credit report.

I would rebuild my credit before that i would even consider another credit card . There are no best credit cards. I would not become enslaved to these people. With good credit , some have promotional as low as 4.5% or better APR but please read and understand your agreement.

Pay your cards off every month. Don't use them as a source to borrow money for more than 30 days. use them to keep up with your spending and as a way to get your money back for bad products.
Need a good prepaid MasterCard with no credit check. the first time you put $40 on it they add an extra 20 http://bit.ly/1kuNALB it took 10 days for mine to get here. you can even attach it to a PayPal account and use the card for a bank. you can even earn $20 when your friends get one.
