check out "Dave Ramsey" on the search engine. He is a bankruptcy guru, listen to some of his radio programs. He helps people get out of debt. Sure, you will be better off financially if you do the steps he suggests. Everyone can be better off financially. All you need to do is take responsibility for your poor spending/saving habits and correct them. Respect your money and you'll watch it grow.

Yes ... but you need to plan and decide what do you want in life and how you want it. AND plan ... how you are going to get out of debt.
MOST IMPORTANT - stop spending unnecessary money.
