there is this girl(22) at work that claims to type 98 words per minute with 99% accuracy. I can type 48 and have never had a problem getting a job or getting my work done. I think she's full of it, but is that even possible?

i have recently decided to become a criminal (all other avenues have been explored and i have reached a dead end as to how to make my fortune - my minimum wage job isn't paying the bills - literally). however i'm a 'worrier', i tend to worry about the slightest of things - not a quality i think a criminal should have. so how can i stop worrying so i can be good at my future career?
thanks

About a month ago a coworker brought up an error I had made to my boss. As humilated as I was I decided that I needed to pay more attention to detail as a result of this. I was angry because this coworker and I work together daily and when she makes errors I correct them without making a scene or even telling her sometimes. Of course, I could not use this argument with boss so I decided to start documenting. In the last 30 days this coworker has made 13 errors. Each error I alert the coworker to make corrections and return to me via email. Instead of pointing this out to my boss I alerted my coworker that there were quite a few errors being made on their end. I said this in the most tactful way. Now my coworker is saying that I changed their information to look like they've made these mistakes. I've got solid proof including emails from her that this is untrue. She is threatening to report me. Should I tell my boss first and show her the emails or wait and see what she does first?

Hi guys, perhaps I'm not smart enough to answer this question during the job interview "Why don't you apply the job in the related field that you've studied instead of an irrelevant field? "

Anyone can help me? Greatly appreciated!

I'm accepting a job offer at this company...and they are asking me for "Anticipated Start Date." There is a quite bit of paperwork that need to be done before this date for my new employment and I'm not absolutely sure how long this process will take. Would you think "Anticipated Start Date" can be postponed for a few days if everything doesn't work out like I originally planned?

What are the hours like?
Pay?

What's the best way to get into it?

Obviously within the UK, so could Yank answerers please keep their irritating "Boston/douchebag/like h'yeh" answers for their own lame boards.

Thank you.

I like to know if a temp agency would be helpful in searching for a job. I am planning on reentering the job market after 5 years of staying at home. Will the agency help evaluate my skills and help me update my resume. A friend suggested Office Team and Kelly Services. Any advice will be helpful.. Thanks

My partner chose to quit his part time job at the end of oct/beging nov 2006. Due to unforseen circumstances I ended up moving in with him and his parents. I have a full time job at 39 hours per week. I pay £200 per month for the pair of us because he is unemployed. We spoke about it & he suggested doing a course to get a qualification to ultimately get a better job, but have a part time onside run along side his course. I was the ever encouraging girlfriend & agreed to pay the £75 per month for his course till he got a job. He then got a job in mar 2007 that was only 4 hours a week, and he quite after 3/4 weeks.

Now he says he can't be bothered to look for work or do his course, which will cost just short of £3000, regardless of wiether he does it or not now, which i am subsequently paying.

He talks about having our own place and family and stuff, but he doesnt understand that until he gets a job its impossible! He thinks all I do is nag when I talk to him about it. What to do?

My supervisor passed around his daughter's girl scout cookie order form thing and I ordered one box of cookies and so I waited a while and I saw him pass out other orders to folks but never recieved mine so one day I confronted him about it and he told me his car got burglarized and that his trunk was messed up and could not get into it and supposedly the my order was in the trunk. So I was nice and said ok well whenever you can get them will you give them to me he said yes. Well its been since Feb now and I confronted him a few more times said he still couldn't get them. Now I am fed up so I would like my money back, I just don't know how to approach my supervisor about it without being mean. Any ideas of what I can say??? Thanks!

I'm anti-social and physically disabled (arthritis in my hands/shoulders limits my ability to lift, type, and perform any sort of repetitive motions) and I'm working with a state program that helps disabled people find work. The only problem is that I don't really know what kind of job would be good for someone who hates to be around people.

I used to work in retail, but I hated it and can't stand the thought of going back to that line of work. I would appreciate any thoughts and opinions anyone would be willing to share. I've got a good opportunity to get back on my feet and become self-sufficient and not rely on government money to survive and I'd like to make the most of it.
