Wow. It must be nice to be 24, and if you don't "feel" like going to your job, you just don't go.

There's two things....

You're either lazy as hell, or you are getting the wrong kind of job.

Hot many of us do cartwheels every morning when we realize it's 5am and we have to go to work, but we do it anyway. You are an adult. It's time tostand up, be a man, and start cranking out those TPS reports like we all do....

i have a couple of suggestions that may be helpful for you:
first of all, you should be evaluated by a psychologist for depression. lack of motivation is a symptom of depression, and a mental health facility can offer counsling and possibly medication that could improve your outlook.
secondly, i would get in touch with your state's vocational rehabilitation agency. every state has an agency that assists individuals with disabilities(depression is generally considered a disability) in the pursuit of employment. depending on the agency, they can offer usually you free vocational counseling, possible training options, and job placement assistance.
this site lists contact information for each state's VR program:

http://www.parac.org/svrp.html

also, most states have programs that assist individuals in finding jobs, making resumes, etc. in pa, we call these agencies careerlink. you may want to search your local state agencies to see if this exists in your area as well.

hope this helps and good luck!

are you like that about other responsibilities? I agree it has to be something you enjoy not just a job for money, but you also need to give it time. Set a goal that if you don't like it in 6 months you'll do something else. But at least give it a go that's what adults do.

Because you aren't hungry enough. You probably have someone supporting you so you haven't got a good enough reason to go. You may be depressed or have parents who spoil you as in ruin not in as indulge.
Look to the person feeding you when you don't work as the one to blame this on. If depressed seek help.

Probably because it is not the right job for you. If you found a job that excites you, I think you'd go. Works for me.

Welcome to the real world. Everyone feels this way, but we don't leave. You just have to do it if you want money.
