I agree with Marlion & Zippy. First find out how much other sitters in your area are charging, and then go tell her what Zippy said. And anyways, if she doesnt like it and want to get somebody else to do the job is fine.. I mean, 3 dollars for 2 hours?.. I thought that only happens here in Mexico..

zippy is right. If you don't think you are being paid enough for the service you are providing, you have every right to ask for more. The caveat is that if you ask for what she thinks is too much, she will find someone else to baby sit for her. Before you approach her with a new rate, you might want to ask around to find out how much other sitters in your area are charging. This will give you a better idea of how much is a fair price.
Good luck!

Babysitters get at the very least $5.00 per hour. Tell her you have other babysitting jobs where that is what you get and you feel it is such an important job and you really put your whole self into doing it so would appreciate getting the going wage.

Tell her she is not paying you enough. After all 3 dollars is an insult and would hardly buy a baby's rattle. Speak up girl!!

you're no longer incorrect in any respect. What you do is save each and all of the text textile messages and take some criminal action. you need to consistently tell her dad and mom additionally and once you're paid quit working for her.
