I'm interested at starting to work at home and am looking for any jobs that require you to work from home. I don't know exactly where to look. I've had some leads that seem pretty legit but I need some more because I'm not sure if its going to work out with these particular work at home jobs. I want to know if possibly there's a web-site or something I could look at on the internet that I could apply for a legit work at home job.

So I have pretty impressive credentials: about 12 years of IT experience (technical services) at one of the biggest companies on earth, a B.S., MBA, PMP project mgmt cert, good references etc. I am in full job searching mode but the only responses I am getting to my resume are for temporary/contract gigs which I don't want. The resume is on all the job sites and with a couple of recruiters. For some reason the interviews aren't coming, in fact I am barely getting any call backs. What can I do to get job interviews? I want to get a new job ASAP. Thanks for any help.

Yes i want to be a police officer. I want to help my community hands on and law enforcement has always been someting that i wanted to do. WHat steps are there to becoming a cop and how long does it usually take.

(im also tired of stereo types with cops involving doughnuts, shooting people for no reason, being a highschool bully. etc. so if u dont have a logical answer then do not respond to this question)

I get to choose the date of an interview: is it better to schedule it at the beginning, the middle or the end of the period they offer? I can choose between 3 consecutive days and I can make it to all of them.

I currently work part time as real estate property manager. I anticipate the company I work for will elevate me to fulltime status within a few months. They have praised me on my work performance so far. The problem now, however, is that I'm having some really bad problems with my teeth and need the dental coverage. Since I've only been here a couple of months do you think it's appropriate to ask my employer for coverage now, even if I'm willing to absorb some if not all the cost?

My employer (government agency) is going through a restructuring inititiave at the moment, and I have to say, I have to say that I have never seen a group of more clueless and stupid people in charge of a change management process before.

There is absolutely no leadership or consulatation with staff- they don't have a plan, and certainly don;t have a plan b either. Working in this place has become unbearable as they are suppossed to tell staff what is to happen to our jobs 2 months ago. To date, there has been no information.

Since January 2006, I have been invited to interviews for three high profile jobs. Each time I have been rejected but in the refusal letters, employer's praised my CV and interview performance.

After three consecutive failures, I am beginning to wonder if there is something wrong with me or is this just plain old fashioned bad luck.

The need to change job is very important to me as my current employer is downsizing, and it has now become very hard to work in such an environment where your responsibilities are being taken away from you.

I missed a day of work recently due to a stomach virus I caught from my son. Two weeks later a coworker who was apparently asked(and agreed) to work in my place did a "revenge call in" on me. I felt like he had the option to say no to working but I feel(to add to the mix) his girlfriend at work talked him into doing it. (He is married and so is she). I am ready to take him quietly in to have a conference with the boss and tell him I know too much on him for him to be harrasing me. Should I or shouldn't I?

You ask for help or information & people respond with useless common information! Crap like what is your experience,Whats your level of education, What do you like to do??? This junk is irrelevant in this corrupt society i have work in since the age of 6 on a farm! Yes i have skills, experience, Knowledge & certification! Employers are rotten to the core i.e. they will hire immigrants who are not held to the same hiring standards as several generational Americans! Employment agentcies your going to be working the worst frontline lowest wage positions! This is way to complicated & complex for all details but i can't find work in Orlando Florida

I worked in a international chain hotel for past 10 years in a senior position. Lately we have a new manager, with a habit of running down his staff with foul and cutting remarks. If we make any mistake his and his right hand man would go for the kill. I am sick of this kind of working environment which is very trying and unheathly

Yes, another question on working at home scams. I'm a broke *** college student with bills to pay, and this caught my eye... There was a flier on a bulletin board with the website www.studentworknow.com on it, and it mentioned stuffing envelopes. I tried to go to the website, but it wouldn't load. I'm assuming it's a scam, but why would my university allow someone to put it up? Are there truly any legit work at home opportunities???

A colleges personnel department recently distributed my personal details without prior consent. The position advertised was a full time post. The personnel department gave the details to the head of the department who in turn passed them onto someone else for a lower position without a phone call or email. I raised this question with the personnel department and they are aware I am upset and will return a response in 2-3 days. Do I have any rights?
