I've been out of work for the past 3 weeks... I have a college degree and office experience.. how long do you advise me to start applying for cashier jobs and such..should I wait till say the end of July to begin doing that... so far I'm sending out resumes daily for administrative spots.. the downside right now is I'm running out of funds to pay my bills... and I'm not eligible for unemployment benefits, either..

I work as an engineer. I hhad a meeting to discuss a project I am working on with some clients and my boss. There were about 20 people at the meeting. I was discussing a short threaded part pipe that is called a 'nipple'. I just burst out laughing right after I said it. My boss asked "what is so funny"? Then I said "I said nipple". I couldn't stop laughing. I got stripped of this project and maybe my job. Do I have a lawsuit? What gives?

If we all left right now i'm sure they wouldn't fire all of us. It would be like a strike or something.

When I say BEST I mean HIGH paying (not $5 hr picking weeds), low stress, easy, and most importantly enjoyable. I am 15 and Im thinking of getting more money for collage. I really don't wanna make the money online. I need ideas, like what did you do to earn money for collage. My grades are good (95 average) but the school is ranked like lowest in the state (because of graduation rate n stuff like that) so getting scholarships is going to be hard (my sister was a foreign exchange student like 100 average and she got two scolarships both like 1grand, but to a really good collage) So I decided to find ways to earn money. So far the best way I found was to work in a grocery store that matches your earnings in a scholarship (I did the math and it would be a little more than 3grand), or a waiter at an expensive resteraunt (Red Lobster), where the tips would make up for the scholarship (and I know the salar is below min. wage at restaurants). What do you think the smartest choice would be?

I have a locker at my job and my boss went threw my locker for no apparent reason and looked at a notebook I had in there with all my complainits about the company. She have since been bitchy towards me and harrassing me (not Sexually). When I was pregnant they made me lift heavy boxes knowing I can hurt the baby. all because I think is retaliation. I have quit now but is it a way I can report her and possibly bring a law suit aginst her and the company. I tried the EECO but i think they don't give a FACK.

I'm turning 26 years old today. I've been out of college for 2 years and was a communications major. My career goal is to become a sports announcer/commentator. I have lots of amateur experience, but I have not found a job in that (given those jobs are rare and few and far between, also difficult to obtain) and I have been temping for about a year now. I have a chance at working full time as a mail clerk at a life insurance company. My boss likes me, I have a feel for the place, plus it's not too far from my house. I will also have health benefits for the first time as well. I have feverishly applied for jobs, but not getting call backs. The only places that take notice of me are temp agencies. This job I am currently working as a mail clerk is through the temp agency. Should I go to them and tell them I'd like to see if I could work there as a regular worker? I'm looking for stability right now, and this would help me out lots, but this job is the lowest most frowned here?
