What Do you do for a living? Do you like what you do? Explain. What you do, how you do it, why you do it, and why you do or dont like it.

I work for a non-profit organization, helping low-income families secure 0% interest loans for used vehicles or vehicle repairs. It's a program designed to keep people mobile - helping them maintain a way to work when they couldn't go through the normal venues because of lack of funds, credit problems, etc.

And yes, I enjoy my work. It's a complete OPPOSITE of what I was doing a year ago in New York City. I worked on Wall Street for fifteen years - doing back-office, office administration stuff.

So I went from the TOTAL-FOR-PROFIT sector to the non-profit sector.

And I have the small paycheck to prove it (my salary was cut in 1/5 by going to non-profit).

The major reason I left New York was because of the stuff that happened on 9/11. I was actually ( no bull-schidt) IN the trade center (Tower 1 - 52nd floor) when the first plane hit (my building).

I would like to become a scientist. I am a research techinician as a hs grad. I enjoy analyzing things that happen in the scientific community as well as in the lab. As a research tech. I basically test the DNA of animals and the ppl higher than me do more analytical stuff. My major will be chem. when I start school in Aug. I do it b/c it is so interesting how certain process can ignite a particular reaction. I dont like it b/c of the super lenghty breaks-I mean a 6 hour break in an 8hr. work day come on..but being on here makes time fly.

I work as a Medical Assistant in a Men's Prison. Mostly I like what I do. Right now I am job hunting, as they are talking about eliminating my position to save money.

i am a computer network security analyst...and i absolutely LOVE what i do...i work from midnight to 8, which gives me the whole day to do what i want....but i also work for/with a private investigator (and sometimes the police) because in addition to network security, i do digital forensics, the kind of stuff that involves finding deleted emails from mistresses, or pictures involving husbands/wives doing the deed with somebody else....they are really fun jobs with very good pay and benefits....

i am a Maintenace Administrative Technician at Ft. Riley, KS...i dont really like the job because the internet is restrictived and you cant go to any good sites. but when i get out of the office i get to drive big @$$ vehicles like a 50,000 lbs forklift, semis, cranes, 10k forklifts etc...super sweet

I am a systems administrator. I monitor computer systems. I like it ok because I can do it from home if I want or go into the office.

i am a nanny of 3. at night, when it's quiet.....i write, paint and collage, when i can. i would like to sell some of my collages, which i think are my best works......got two books going.....one about growing up with my aunt......one where i kill my step father for molesting my sister and myself. i enjoy it all...right now the best thing is playing in the pool with the babies....3, 4 and 8 years old.....they are great material for the book (the good book) and good inspiration for my artwork. thanks for asking. no one here ever seems to be concerned with getting to know anything about anyone.....
