How can, for instance a $170 game like ROck band be selling for 99 cents? The feedback is positive, but how could someone be selling something that expensive for a dollar? What is the catch?

I was wanting to know if someone has the same name can they pull money off a credit card? Example: My grandpa and my uncle have the exact same name except my uncle is Jr. if my grandpa gives him his credit card can my uncle pull money off the credit card because he has the same name? HERE'S THE KICKER: THE CARD DOESN'T SAY JR OR SENIOR IT JUST SAYS: BRANDON NEUHOLD . I WANT TO CONFIRM THAT I AM RIGHT. My uncle has got money with this credit card before. I AM PROVING A POINT TO MY GRANDPA!

I am due to get a medical settlement check for $20K in the next two months. I have around 5 creditors who know the situation but each of them call me several times a day - EVERY DAY - all day. Because of late fees and penalties, the low balances I had have shot up to $200. They have advised me NOT to use a credit counseling service. I have asked them to stop the late charges etc.. but they are not willing. Can't credit counseling services help reduce these balances and finance charges? I am on permanent disability and we have had immediate family illnesses, a death and an aggravated assault since March. NONE of these creditors have wanted to work with me.

im gonna be moving out on my own at 19 years old..i plan on living with my friend in a $450 a month townhouse. I will be working at a local clothing store. Will me and my freind be able to make it on our own with out going bank rupt. I also plan on opening my own store after a few months on my own. will it work?

We are currently planning on purchasing a house and another car. I pulled my credit scores and am currently sitting at 665 671 and 687. I have about 20k in debt with 8k on my car and the remainder on revolving and installment accounts. Also a majority of my credit cards balances are pretty high. I recently got a new card and did a balance transfer from one card to a new 4.99% maxing out the new card but the new balance has not yet appeared online affecting my score. In three months I will be able to pay my credit card balances down to about 30% of their limits. I was wondering if I took out an installment loan and paid down my balances now to 30% then pay off the loan in three months would that be better or worse than waiting the 3 months and pay then? I'm looking for the best solution to preserve and increase my scores.

Wife has been preparing taxes for over ten years. We separated in March. She signed my name to 1040 tax form, wants 1/2 of retirement, 1/2 of 401k, and Im paying out $600 child support. There was infidelity on her part and she left with daughter. CAn I fight back at all with that tax document being forged?

I've been using my dad's CC for about 8 months now. Whatever I spend, I would pay it off the same month. This past month, I took out about 3k in purchases. The balance is 6k now, with a 9k limit. Like I said, I've been paying way more than the minimum. My dad just called me and told me that the interest rate has been raised to 35%. We haven't late in 2 years.

I think he must have read it wrong. If not, could they do this without any good cause?

I want to know if there is a bank that posts and takes the money away from your account weather the merchant posted it or not, so you ALWAYS know your REAL balance?

that way i can always check it online and avoid most NSF fees and Overdrafts :(

I'm getting my first job in the corporate world, I've always had industrial jobs that didn't really require "fashion sense". If I look at foreclosures on the yahoo website home listings and I find one for say $1,400. Is that what it actually costs? Or is it what is owed at signing and its really going to be way more expensive. I am not sure how foreclosures work, nobody has ever really explained it to me.
