Fiance owns a home that has been for sale w/ a reputable realtor for over a year. I own a home-in my name only. If house doesn't sell in another 6 months, he's going to have to foreclose. We will be married by then. If we have seperate bank accounts and my home is in my name only, as a result of the foreclosure, can his mortgage lender put a lien on my house or do anything to my bank accounts? Thank you.

I haven't been to the doctor's office in over eight years because I'm in such good health. Is it really worth spending $55 every pay period for something that I've never used? It seems like so many uninsured Americans are doing fine. I feel like I've been cheated out of $10,000...I could've bought a lot of other things with that money!

Ok, I am buying a house. I was told today that there was some repairs on the house that needed to be done before I could close. I WAS supposed to close on Monday the 24th. It is a rural development loan. So they require the repairs to be made. My mortgage lender told me she was going to contact Rural Development and see if they could loan me more. The house was appraised at 5000 more than what I am buying it for. Will Rural Development do this? Anyone?

Is there insufficient capacity in the tunnel for all traffic that needs to use it.

It seems silly to take 90 minutes (ferry time) to do the crossing when the tunnel takes only 30 minutes.

I mean - when they built a bridge across to the island of Skye, the ferry stopped operation, yet on the channel...

My fiance and I rent a house with Real Property Management but were recently told they are not going to be managing the property anymore. The owner has called to explain that I do need to sign a lease continuance, however want to know if there is a way to get out of the contract and get my deposit back. As much as we love the house, we both started new jobs that just make the house seem so far away and we believe that since we signed the lease with Real Property Management and they are no longer going to be the management company associated with the property, we should be able to get out of the lease. What if we signed the lease because we liked the company and the agent? We are ignorant on the subject and would like an answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

I have made the decision to save my money and eventually buy my own mobile home instead of renting. What price range should I shoot for when shopping for a mobile home? Are there any good websites out there?

Thanks :)

If so, how did you deal with it? (sleep wise) Did you get used to it? Now that I've graduated, I'm out in the workforce and I'm wondering if I'll ever get used to these long hours. I started about 1.5 months ago and a friend told me that I'll eventually get used to and that I'll eventually become more resilient? Do you agree with this? Based on what you've experienced?

There are several large insurance companies in my town. I have a bachelors degree in management with an HR focus. I took several general business courses and took an insurance course. I also have basic knowledge of insurance through my HR courses and my 3 months at my current HR job. I want to become an underwriter and was wondering if someone with a business degree could get into the field? A friend who works at a large insurance firm says yes it's very possible. Any comments?

An invoice from Ebay came to me. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do because im new to ebay. It says that my balance is $-5.77. And it says that (No payment due). Does that really mean that no payment is due, And what does it mean if i'm in negative balance? Does that mean that that is the amount that I have to pay, OR does that mean that that's the credit that I have on Ebay?

Cause last month I got an invoice and it said that my balance is $6.50, and it said that $6.50 was due. I paid that money...

So my question is what does negative balance in ebay mean?

please answer thanks

Hello there, I have a question regarding what is counted as an income. I currently attend a graduate school, and of course, many graduate school offer "stipends" to their students in return for them working for the department on various activities. Anyhow, I also receive the stipend and support myself out of that. Here comes the question. I was applying for a loan the other day, and my application was denied, and I was told that the stipend cannot become an source of an income. Although I took their words, I still cannot belive that a stipend cannot be counted as a source of income, because I receive it monthly, pay taxes over it and it has a salary value over it. Anyway, I'd like to hear about your thoughts on this.

BE WARNED!
I have already received TWO (2) emails today that look VERY OFFICIAL from Bank of America and want me to click on a link and supply them with my "Banking Information".

First of all, Bank of America NEVER asks for your personal information by email.

Secondly, check the body of the fraudulent email you received and (in my case) look for typos like these I found:

1) It says:
"For security purpose, we are required to open an investigation into this matter."
SHOULD BE: "FOR SECURITY PURPOSES"

2) It says (at the bottom of the email):
"Bank of America Online Banking Departament"

'DEPARTAMENT"??? (B of A (or any bank for that matter) does not make spelling mistakes or typos)

Be careful, DO NOT click on any of the links, and contact your bank for an address where you can forward those emails.

For Bank of America, forward them to:
abuse@bankofamerica.com
