If so, how did you deal with it? (sleep wise) Did you get used to it? Now that I've graduated, I'm out in the workforce and I'm wondering if I'll ever get used to these long hours. I started about 1.5 months ago and a friend told me that I'll eventually get used to and that I'll eventually become more resilient? Do you agree with this? Based on what you've experienced?

I never thought about it. I just graduated and then started working 8 hours a day. If you are busy and challenged, it flies by.

I work at a school, so I don't work all summer, and have just started back this month. After a summer 'vacation' just like the kids get, it was hard for me going back to working all day. I would say it takes a good month to get back into the routine that makes each day not seem like forever and a day. Good luck, you will become more resilient, and the weekends and holidays are just so much better now that they really are a break from the stress of full time employment.

When starting out I pulled many 18 hour days but I was self employed if that makes a difference.

You will get us to the new schedule in your life in a few months.
