What does it mean when it says something wll ship in 2-3 business days? how long are they ?

A business day is any day that one can assume business would operate normally.
Basically, it is any day besides a weekend or holiday.
In your example, it depends on when the item is sent. If it is sent on a Monday, you can expect it Wed. or Thu. If it is sent on Friday then it should not be expected until Tues. or Wed. of the next week.

business days are Monday tough Friday most of the time. most places open at 8 a.m and close at 5 p.m.
