Generally, we are the poorest paid employees of our company, with many expenses, so what does it matter who gives service, as long as it is the best it can be (and definitely, owners want to give impeccable service) and we will be there without fail to continue to give good service.

I am only 33. I am investing in my 401K and estimate I will have about 900K in my account when I am 60.

Thinking ahead, I wanted to see how much I could collect from social security depending on when I retire. At 62, I would be eligible for an estimated 46K/year and 70 if I held out til 70

My family does not have a very long life expectancy (72-75), but you never know - 35 years from now alot can change for better or for worse

I rarely call customer service, so I couldn't remember the passcode placed on my account last year. In order for me to change the passcode, the security department asked if I would verify public information concerning the nearest relative who lives with me who is NOT on my account, or affiliated with my account in any way. Supposedly public records about me, listed their name, age, and place of birth.

This seemed very strange. Has anyone every experienced this? Also, the relative they asked me to verify information about, has TERRIBLE credit, and judgments, so will their credit history affect my relationship with this creditor? Thanks

I have been told I can just test for it. I have been an Electrician for near 10 years. But none of the time counts because I was never under a Master Electrician. I have done much work for Ford, Chrysler, GM, and Harley-Davidson. Any input would be helpful.

I am trying to get information about a Company so that I can ascertain wether or not it would be a safe place to invest. There must be some kind of 'Government Watchdog' organisations to monitor Company activity in order to protect the public but I just don't know of any. Can anybody help me please?

I came home one day and was denied access to the apartment. I called and asked why I wasn't allowed in. They told us that we could not live there anymore and wanted all of our belongs out by the end of the week. They then called on Monday and told us all our stuff had to be out by Wedesday or they would pack our things and put them outside. We arranged to borrow a friends truck and called them on Tuesday to work out a time. Wednesday wasn't good enough for them because they had made plans and wanted our stuff out that night. We had no way to remove our belongings that night so they packed our things and put them in the dining room. Thursday night I arranged to come get a few of the boxes they had packed since they wanted our things out and tried to arrange to pick up the rest of the things on Saturday morning. I was told not to come over on Thursday to pick up anything if I couldn't take it all. I took it all that night. I live in VA. Can I take them to court and sue?

I want to buy wooden arrows for competition, how is this tax fair.?He said that there is the same tax on bullets . Does it really cost $.75cents per bullet? Arrows are $ 75.00 or more per 100 and then they have to have feathers, heads and nocks.

the realtor said the judge had ordered everyone to pay double condo fees, So instead of $381, its $762. My question is, if I'm interested in buying the condo, what's better that they pay the closing cost of around $4-$5K or that he pays the extra of $381 per month for the next year? The realtor also said that management had told him that it would only last another 3 months that they have to pay the extra $381.

I was supposed to receive a $50 rebate. It's months already and it never came. Whenever I call, there is no way to speak to a representative.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and they just emailed me saying that the company is not responding to them and they are closing the case.
What can I do now? Small claims court? Any ideas?
Please help!!! Thanks so much!

I would really like to open up my own restaurant business but I’m afraid that it might not do well. I’m stuck and I’m trying to make the best decision. I don’t know if I should take the risk or not. If you were in my shoes, would you rather try and open a restaurant business and have it failed, than not trying at all? And please explain why.

I am starting law school this fall. I have about $25,000 in undergraduate student loans and I know absolutely nothing about finances! My loans are spread among 4 different lenders and people are calling my house everyday telling me that I will get all kinds of benefits if I consolidate. I didn't consolidate when I graduated because the interest rate was high and my loans will go on deferment when I start school. So...the question is, will it really be worth it to consolidate now or are people just trying to sell me a loan? If I do not consolidate now, what are the chances that the interest rate will be lower by the time I graduate law school? Help!

So this morning my husband tells me that if our new mortgage company doesn't require us to have a home inspection on the home we're purchasing, he doesn't want to waste the money on a home inspection. I argue that we should because it's important and they might find something. He said that he knows what to look for (he's in construction) and that his uncle knows about plumbing, electrical, and pest issues and we can have him look at it too for free. I have faith in my husband that he knows his stuff, but at the same time... lol.. I'd feel safer just having a home inspector check it out. What do you think?
