You should contact a local entertainment law firm. Rates starting at $ 10,000 a day depending on the subject matter of the film and location are not unheard of. The firm will be able to help you with the negotiation, but more importantly, the maze of legal issues that go with filming in LA.

If it is a porn production in the valley, I would highly recommend saying no. Their money is very good, but once you say yes they just never really go away.

I'd rule out the two oldest sharing a room - given their age I don't reckon it would work that well. I'd also rule out sleeping on the couch as that can't be good for the back and even if it is ok on the back I think as parents it's important that you too have your own space behind closed doors. If you do go with the option of your daughter sharing her room with your 2 year old I'd recommend partitioning the room off if you can with a curtain or boxes or something so she still has her space within the room and maybe once shes a teenager in a year or 2 swap it over and put the two boys in together by then your older son will be 11 and maybe a bit more responsible with the younger brother. Good Luck

Maybe $5K depending on quality of house and yard
But more important is insurance and a guaranty of "return to original condition" as many film shoots can do thousands of $$$$ in damage while moving equipment around .
Get it ALL in writing !

Compare it to other similar houses for rent in the area, then divide a monthly rate by a third, or so. My guess would put you at right around $1000-$1500.

I dont know the answer, I would charge a lot. CYA because they will most likely not clean up after themselves, maybe get delayed. Be sure they have insurance to cover any damage they may do. What is their offer? Make them make the first move. You can sort of tell how much they are willing to pay by what they offer, though their first offer will most likely be low. Definitely, make it worth your while.
