As stated above, I will be moving, but I need to refinance my mortgage ASAP (5 year fixed up in October). What is my best option so I do not have to pay any penalties/fees when I go to sell? Thanks for your help! If you need more info, please post for me to read and I'll respond. I live in Illinois.

I financed $19452. I still owed $12, 703 on my trade-in, which I originally borrowed $15,000 for. The sales tax in my county is 6%. Do I pay the 6% on the total I financed (the $19452)?

I'm a customer of a wellness company. I buy all toxin free household products from them and refer new customers to them. When my customers (and their customers for 7 generations) order, I receive a minimum of 7% commission on their purchases. Since I must place a montly order of $50 to keep this benefit, would I be able to write off all my household products of $50 * 12mos = $600 for the year?

My credit score is 372. I have a car repo and LOTS of cards and loans. the repo is already written off and my card accounts are closed. I am getting $22,500 in january and would like to fix my credit then. Is it best to pay off everything in full? someone told me not to pay off all my accounts. My payment history will still suck even though my debt to income ratio will be ok. what can i do to raise my score with this money? should i do debt consolidation and make payments instead of paying everything lump sum? i have from january until december to get it ok because i want to finance a new car. HELP!

In my business, one of the 3 partners is very risk averse. Risk averse to the point that it is hindering our growth. He is afraid to pursue new opportunities out of fear of taking a risk. I'm not referring to reckless decisions, but well thought out, calculated risks, such as expanding our product line or partnering with companies that have complementary product offerings.

We have missed out on several good opportunities because he is afraid to take a risk.

What are some good ways to encourage someone who is risk averse to take a calculated risk now and then?

Any strategies or even books or other sources you can recommend are appreciated.
