The fact that your co-worker is gay is a personal issue, but that he watches porn at work is not appropriate at all. You should talk to him directly first before addressing the issue to higher managers.

The fact that he's gay and annoys you isn't material. If he's wasting his employer's time looking at porn while on the job, then management should be informed.
If you're just annoyed that he's gay, shape up and learn to not be homophobic.

That he may or may not be gay is beside the point.
He isn't doing his job.
However, the fact that you bring up his sexual preference makes me wonder if you are hypersensitive to what this guy does. Would you "let it pass" if you saw him looking at the same amount of heterosexual pornography?
In any case, its a bad idea to be looking at any porn at most jobs ... I would tell him that.
If he keeps it up, THAT is what I would go with to with the boss. He's viewing porn instead of doing his job.
If you complain that he is homosexual, it may be *YOU* that is out on your ear for discrimination.
And rightly so.

If your boss is willing to pay your co-worker to look at porn all day and not work, it's no skin off *your* nose.
Speaking of noses, you probably ought to keep yours to yourself. It might well be that your co-worker is blackmailing your boss, and if you don't mind your own bees wax, you'll be canned.

nothing. YOU might be hit with a discrimination charge since affirmative action protects gays and lesbians along with racial minorities and women. looking at porn on the job SHOULD be a fireable offense ( a straight man checking straight or lesbian porn on the job would be but this is different) but probably sooner or later he'll hang himself. just worry about doing your own job. if you catch him looking at CHILD porn then anonymously report it to HR.
PS: most companies monitor their computers so it wouldn't surprise me if they already know.

um ....ew, anyway tell your boss. If he's really not doing his job then you have every right to get him fired. Don't do it just because he's gay though.

Ignore him, unless you are doing his work in addition to your own.
