Okay so my husband and I fell in love with this beautiful home that was foreclosed. The previous owners put a ton of work into it and ended up losing the house. My biggest fear is that if we buy it, the old owners are going to come back and do something to it or us. Okay maybe I'm a little paranoid, but does this kind of thing happen???

HI..I am basically in the market for a mortage..
looking for 153 grand loan, 30 year fixed..about a 6. something rate,..make 32 grand..credit score of 791/able to afford 1200 monthly sorta mortage payment..don't want to put lil if anytihng on a downpayment
the problem I'm running into is the lender either has all these fees and a lower rate or a higher rate and no extra "fees".
I wasn't expecting a 5 percent rate..but this guy at usbank offered me a plan with 2 rates..6.6 for the first..7.6?? for the rest??
..it isn't like I am dirt poor or have bad credit..
what do you think is a good rate for someone in my situation..
is there a good mortage lender that has a no down payment 30 yr fixed mortage lower interest rate and no fees out there..or am I dreaming

sure I know this isn't a perfect world..but it feels like I'm swimming with the sharks
I'm in the Kc.mo area if this helps

They are four houses, two in Oakland CA, and two in San Francisco CA.
Lower middle class neighborhoods.
All rented.
Plus, my Dad has given me plenty of money over the years, so I owe him.
How much should he pay me a month? He's offering me a hundred dollars a month. Is that too little?
Don't forget this is California - Everything's more expensive here.

Hey Guys!

I'm Alex, and really need your advice on this subject. I currently have a Capital One Visa credit card, but seriously thinking about canceling it because I've heard so much BS about that company. That they don't report the right information to the bureaus, and will most likely end up hurting your overall score. Should I ditch them and get a credit card with my bank which is Banner Bank Visa? Would that be a better idea than to stay with these cynical *** holes? What are advantages of owning a Banner bank credit card, is this a good movie? Can I have all your honest opinion's please...no smart remarks. I know that canceling a credit card ruins your score, but what's the point staying with Capital One my score is already ruined right? I want to develop a good rating score for when I need a personal loan/auto loan or whatever it maybe.

Thanks in advance.
Alex

I have always been responsible with money. I have a good amt of emergency savings, an excellent credit score, and started investing for retirement and long-term goals like a home. My fiance on the other hand does not. He does not make very much money and has quite a bit of debt, he claims he cannot open a retirement account yet since he does not make enough and he is 6 years older than I am. He pays high interest on his debt and has no money for investing in our future. I am concerned that we might someday have problems with money, even though we are okay now. However I know once kids enter the picture things may change. When I try to talk to him about it things can get heated because he says he is doing everything he can and feels put down when I lecture him about money. I don't have a problem being the main supporter of the family, I just don't want him or us to be in a bad situation down the road. Are there any suggestions to get him to begin investing or any books on this subject?

Our realtor has argued with us about our selling price since day 1; our house is now listed 30 days. We should've excused her from helping us, but she's a family friend. She goes on and on about our house smelling like dog. It can't since we bath them weekly, and we're serious clean freaks. Plus, we've had no complaints of smell from the 7 buyers who've seen our house! She admitted only AFTER signing as our realtor that she's not familiar with selling in our subdivision and has never sold homes within it. OMG! She's "pushing" us to drop the price and we've told her we're in no hurry to sell. Her price suggestion is so low we should stick a sign in our yard saying "FREE, first come, first serve"! We live in Central Texas and want to know if anyone has ideas. Can we get out of her contract? I don't want her getting a dime from us.

He then told her that he and his wife were looking for a single famiy to rent out his 2 bedroom 1 car garage home for $800 a month. She then later at our apartment gave us the news since we lived in a 1050 sq ft apartment which we pay almost a $1,000 a month broke the news to us and we were excited about moving in! Since we are going to be able to save couple hundred bucks more a month we said " why not!.. We always wanted to rent a house instead of an apartment with units. When we can rent a home that has a yard and garage!" So we meet this guy and we introduced ourselves and also showed us the home. It's about 1092 sq which was a little larger than our apartment. He said that he needed it to be moved in no later than a month and so we did. It's been 3 months being a tenant and he now tells us the house is foreclosing. And for the past 3 months we've been having issues with our landlord. He also one time let his self in the house without giving notice!! Please help us??....

I am a recent college graduate with a BA in Communications

I am looking for work as an admin. assistant or Perferably Human Resources.

What are the basics I need to know in order to operate? Is this a good start up bussiness for someone learning to be self-employed? What are some things that are not obvious about this?

The other thing is I want to employ local artists from my local high schools to design the patterns on my t-shirts. What legal issues do I need to know about if I plan to do this?

I am dissatisfied with my job duties, the commute, etc. and would very much like to switch to another job; however considering that employers don't consider a job resume-worthy in the long run until you hit the 6 month- or 1 year-mark, should I stay or go? It's almost three months now, and I have it on my resume temporarily, for job-seeking. However, I won't be able to credit it to myself if I quit now in the long run, right? Plus, wouldn't it be bad for my employment record or would it be "nothing"?
