I never have any questions to ask at the time of an interview because it seems all the ones I think of are already answered. I am interviewing with a employment agency and this is my first time working with one. Can anyone give me any questions to ask? or important things I should ask. My Rundown:

I am a recent college graduate with a BA in Communications

I am looking for work as an admin. assistant or Perferably Human Resources.

How do these agencies work and how should I conduct my self at the interview? Please help with sincere answers! Thank you in advance!

I would tell them why you are interested in Human Resources. I would ask specifically what jobs they have at this time that they think would fit you. I would ask them what they offer that going out on your own doesn't offer you.

When they ask you about yourself, be honest. Sell yourself. You understand they have to SELL you to a potential employer about how good you are & how qualified you are.

You get to practice on them & then you get to do it again on the employer. I would mention that too. I would ask them for pointers to use when you go for an interview. If you don't make money, neither do they. Look at them as a teacher & tell them that too.

Okay here's the big three you should ask at the end of any interview:

"What do you feel are the keys to success in this position?"

"Do you see anything, based on my application or our interview that concerns you or you think may be a problem?"

"What is the next step in this process?"

There you go. They fit any interview anytime and make you appear interested, direct and above-board. You should, of course reply to the answers you are given. Match your skillset to the keys of sucess, discuss any problems they may be seeing honestly and openly, and respond to their explanation of the hiring process.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS write a short thank you note "I wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk to me today about X position with Y company. Meeting you has only increased my interest in working with Y company and I think my skills would fit X position perfectly. I look forward to hearing from you on (Date). Again thank you for all of your time and effort! Sincerely, (You)"

The thank you note can literally be the difference between being hired and being passed over.
