I noticed realtor.com has lots of outdated and missing houses for sales. Is there a free website I can access that's close to MLS? I need a link please.

My standard deduction is $5350 and personal exemption is $3400. The way it was explained to me, if I add these together, it is the amount of money out of what I make during the year that is not subject to federal income tax.

If I make a few hundred dollars over this amount as gross income during the year (summer job), is all of my gross income that is subject to federal income tax or is it GROSSINCOME-(standard deduction+personal exemption) that is able to be taxed by federal income tax?

Right now I have 1 exemption on my W-4 (it's for line B: I'm single and have only one job), but now I would like to change it for line A (No one else can claim me as a dependent). But I was told by a coworker that if I add another exemption then I would have less taxes taken out, but at the end of the year I could actually end up owing money. This year I got a refund (241.00 refund for making ~5,000.00) and I'm just worried that if I change my exemptions then I will end up owing money at the end of the year instead of getting a refund. Just so you know, I'm a 21 year old college student with a part time job. Thanks.

In 2005 taxes i forgot to add a W-2 form for a job i only had like two monthes (i was lazy to pick it up and thaught I'd be losing out on a larger return so thats why i didnt really think about it) now it turns out that they over paid me be $995. They are giving me the option of making payments. Does anyone know if they will be willing to take it out of next years return?? I get returns every year so im hoping they will. Yes or no??

My boy friend wants me to put company revenue cheques through my bank account because of company problems. Is this fraud or only if he doesnt claim the income on his
T2 return. If he doesnt and a paper trail leads to me can the government say that it is my income. Thanks

I want to be a police officer. The only thing I'm concerned about is my employment history and how much I've moved around in the past, though. It might come off as unreliable, I have moved back and forth 4 times between here and the southwest, and I've had a couple jobs where I didn't give any notice and just quit. I want to leave these details out of an application. Do they check to see where you've had a driver's license and where you've filed a W4?

The maintenance men had to remove 2 cabinets off the wall in the physician lounge in order to repair a leak...once the work was done, they came into my office to inform me that they could not put the cabinets back in it's original spot or the area we decided on yesterday...I explained to the workers what I thought they should do...When my boss came in I explained to him what was said and he informed me, that he didnt really care, but to leave the decision making up to the coordinator. I found a mortgage company online that says they can help people with low credit scores and low down payments to buy a house, they sent me an application but the thing is it says i have to pay $69 to submit the application, is this a normal practice? am i just out this money if they end up not being able to approve me for the home loan? i just wanna make sure this isnt some kind of scam, it seems like a reputable company but im not sure, any thoughts?

I have come up with two ways to get money:
1) I'm going to try and get a job (pay will most likely be minimum wage)

2) I've been invited to a science seminar thing (pay is about $30 per day for three days)

If I get a job, I can't go to the science thing because it is required for me to stay over there for three nights.
If I go to the science thing, it would interfere with my job (if I get one).

What should I do?

The company has entered in to a credit agreement that contains a $100 million revolving credit facility and a $150 million term loan facility.

The new $100 million revolving credit facility will be used to supplement cash flows available for the acquisition of purchased receivables in addition to other general corporate purposes. The new facility includes an accordion loan feature which permits a $25 million credit limit extension, should the Company require additional access to capital to support future operations. The new revolving credit facility has a five-year-term expiring June 12, 2012.

The $150 million term loan facility will be use to fund a previously announced plan to return $150 million to shareholders.

The new term loan facility will mature on June 12, 2013 and will amortize $1.5 million per year (in quarterly installments beginning on or about September 30, 2007), with any remaining principal due at final maturity.

We've got a sign in the yards, and now an ad in the paper. We've had a few calls, but no one has come to look at it. We need to sell before the end of summer. We are 'asking' a certain price so we ARE allowing people to try to work us down in case we run out of time (it is a fair price; what the place is worth).
Anyways, the ad should begin running in the paper today. What can I do to this place to make it look more spatious and inviting? My BF is a pack rat; we've thrown away gobs and gobs of stuff, but still have a lot of things that should be in storage (we can't afford that). We've painted the back bedroom, and plan on painting the other 2 bedrooms, one of the bath rooms, and the laundry room. I've taken most of the pictures off of the walls to make the room look bigger (but now there's 2 big boxes taking up space in the back bedroom!).
Anyone have any tips or links for how to make the place look bigger and better?
