I'm just wondering, because there's a co-worker where i work, and she's always gone because of medical reasons. They always have to ask everyone if they can fill in for her.

One time she was gone for at least 3 weeks- a month.

however, he owned a house that I paid for, two questions

1.- The house was sold within two years of ownership (limitation for profit on a house) he did not buy another property, does he have to pay taxes on that money? If so, sonce he does not file tax returns, how would he?

2.- Sine I paid for the house what happens to the interest paid on that house, who can claim it? He doesn't file taxes and my name is not on the mortgage?

First of all, I would appreciate it if I can hear from a CPA or Tax expert on this.

I am guilty of not filing my 2005 taxes. The good news is I have a nice refund coming and do not owe money.

I am about to file and would like to know:

1. Will there be a penalty on my refund, and if so what can I expect?

2. Since I will be sending my forms through the mail, do I need to include a letter of some sort or even contact the IRS prior to sending them out OR do I just mail them in??

Thanks.

I know that legally I don't have to tell that I am pregnant but I feel that is being dishonest. I am two months pregnant and not really showing but I don't want to start a new job on the wrong foot. I know that I wouldn't be happy if I just hired someone and they were going to need several months off after only working for 7 months.

Im not sure how all the tax works, but I was told that i shouldnt be taxed on my pay until i earn more than £4,500 then i can be taxed. If thats the case then ive been taxed since day one up until now.

Im not sure if this statement is true or not. or if im entitled to tax back.
