We live in southern California but the housing here is still quite unaffordable. We are thinking about investing a house in another state. Because we're not going to live there, it doesn't really matter too much where it is. Instead, it is more important that the price appreciation is gonna be good in the next few years. (Is CA still a good place to buy a house nevertheless in this case?) Could experts help me out or give me related websites where I can find more information? Thank you¬

I have just learned that Wal-mart intends to close its sewing department. April 2007 the sewing area within the Knoxville, TN Wal-marts will be closed. While the supply of fabric and notions in minimal, the thought of not being able to purchase these items is disturbing.

payment is now around 1200 a month. I am assuming that the payment amount is based on the principle and interest at the current time, so that if I make a one time payment towards principle of x amount it should make the current principle that I am making payments on lower, thus lowering the amount of money due over the same number of periods...is this correct

ok, so i just started making and selling jewlery from my home in 2006. I have been to a few craft fair type shows to sell my wares. My question is: Can i deduct the amount i spent to make the jewlery from my taxes? I do not have a business liscence.

I just started a new job on Monday, and my benefits dont kick in until May 1st. The problem is my benefits wont cover my pregnancy, cause it wil be a pre-existing condition and I wont have any health insurance to cover my pregnancy. I applied for Medicaid today, and was told...I make too much money (23k) and couldnt receive benefits. I recently moved to a new city to live with my girlfriend. before i came here i thought i had a job lined up. it fell through when the company tanked. i have put out over 40 aplications over the last 3 and a half weeks and no one has gotten back to me. it is a small city, only about 48000 people but there is a huge college here with 25000 students. i don't want to do one of thouse make money on line things. any ideas?
