I entered into a lease on June 19 2006, my wife and I requested a copy of the lease on 18 January 2007. When we were given the lease I noticed that it had not been signed on 18 Jan. 2007 but had been back dated to Jan. 17 2007. I'm curious if this is legit or a foul. Further, the property manager we entered the lease agreement with has since been replaced, the lease is signed by the new manager and not the original. Is this kosher?

I am currently renting, but everyone keeps telling me that I am throwing my money away. I am a student, but hopefully within the next couple of years will be an R.N. My boyfriend thinks we should buy but I have had credit problems in the past (I do not owe anyone anymore). I just don't know where to start or who to talk to. We live in the Olympia, Wa area. Any suggestions would be great.

I'm a junior in highschool right now and I want to be a pharmacist. I am an A B student as of this year and I have not yet taken the ACT or SAT. Math is my weak subject, whereas history and science is strong. Is it still possible for me? If so, what kind of education will I need and how long will it take (according to today's laws and college degrees)? Also, if you think it's futile for me, what should I be? I'm so confused...I really want to open my own resteraunt as well

My company shares an office with another business. I dropped a plastic object while giving something to their receptionist and chipped the edge of their precious coffee table. It couldn't be repaired and he wants me to replace it. I offered to glue it, turn it around (it's against a wall), but evidently he's afraid clients will come in and say "Oh my god look at that 1/2" chip on the edge of your coffee table, I won't ever do business with you!!!" How vain. Yes I'm responsible, but I'm just an admin. asst. and he's a wealthy business owner - he could buy a $200 table and not notice the money was gone. To think this man invited me to church once - I won't EVER take him up on his offer now. No religious comments please. Oh yeah, christmas just passed, my kids need braces, their birthdays are coming up next month, and my car starter just went out on me. I do have a good relationship with my boss - should I involve him? How do I handle this? I don't want to ruin the business relationship.

What is the reasoning behind a banks' decision to charge higher interest rates for used cars vs. new cars? It's a secure loan anyways. I've always thought that a higher interest rate protects the bank in case u have bad credit because the risk is higher, which I understand totally... but what does a car's age or mileage have to do with interest rates? The risk is protected by the loan value.
