I am now working for seven months in this small firm where I see no advancement opportunities. It's a dead-end job! I work three days a week so I have time to interview for new jobs. I am honest and put on my resume that I am currently employed. Do you think that may be hurting my chances of getting a new job offer and scares off potential employers?

When they ask, I am honest and tell them I would like a job where I can grow and learn new things.

out-of-network to see a non-contracted Doctor and the patient has to meet a deductible, can an insurance company apply their fee schedule rates to the deductible, no matter what the Doctor charged the patient, or does the insurance company have to apply to the deductible what the Doctor charged the patient?

For example, if the doctor charges $90 for an office visit, and the insurance company's out-of-network fee is $50, can the insurance company apply the $50 to the deductible or should they apply the $90?

Thank you for your help!

I have sent an e-file and now i need to submit a signed form (8453-OL)

My turbo tax printed two copies of 8453-OL and one copy of 8453 for state. The instruction is to sign and mail the federal copy to the IRS. It didnt say anything about the State one. It just say sign and date the form but not mailing.

Questions:
1). Do I need to submit two 8453-Ol for federal? (because it printed two)
2). Do I need to mail the state one together with the federal one? It doesnt say anything.

Its my first time to submit so Im a little worried on what to do or If im doing it correctly. Please reply =(

Of course, that is, if you pay them off right. I'm assuming they help your credit a little, but i wonder by how much, or if I'm better off to just get a normal credit card.

I'm looking for renter's insurance in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and since I have never really had to deal with that, I'm at a complete loss as to who would be the best to look at. I have a modest 2-bdrm apartment that is very interesting in terms of the number of collectibles I have (lost count of how many Bradford Exchange plates I have, lol, plus collectible Barbies, some bought as early as 1999), plus the computer and my cochlea implant equipment.... so it's understandable that I'm looking for insurance, especially in a building that was rumored to have been built in the 1950's. Can anyone who lives in Canada, or Edmonton, Alberta, for that matter, recommend a good company? Especially one that's not too finiky about credit ratings (mine seriously sucks due to an old student loan that vanished, meaning got shifted from one agency to another until I no longer know where the hell it is).

The renter had left the house in bad shape. Most I chalk up to wear and tear--even though it was beyond wear and tear. I had a cleaning lady at $20 per hour, and she spent the total amount of 3.5 hours cleaning the bathroom. I feel I have the right to charge the tenant for 2 of those hours. The cleaning lady also spent 2 hours cleaning the oven--it was so dirty. I feel they should pay for all of this.

They also removed carpet without permission. I not asking them to pay for the carpet since it was old, but I do feel they should pay for the majority of the carpet installation which is $800.

Their dog also scratch up the back door, but I can't prove this.

Please let me know what is fair.

I think that with a limited number of jobs in the IT field and saturation of IT people desperate for work, competition will be fierce for jobs. Out of school I could get a job as a tester within six months or so making $20-25 an hour and move up from there.

Accounting offers more job prospects for less money, but with a CPA license it offers the opportunity to own my own accounting company doind peoples taxes...$$$$

Business Admin is rather interesting at my school. They have the best program for Business Administration I have ever seen and it covers a little of everything. Lot's of job prospects + I already have management experience so I would start above the average starting salary for graduates as I already make more than that now without a degree. + Law School??

Thing is, with the accounting and IT degree, I would be better of transfering schools since they have better programs elswhere. Ultimately I just want to start my own business, any business. What should I do?

I live in a state where the unemployment is high and it doesn't seem to get any better for me as the days and weeks go by! In the past, i have tried temp agencies, i have filed for unemployment (and that's about to run out soon), and i have had jobs under the sun where they didn't fulfill me whatsoever. They were just jobs i took because i graduated from college with a Bachelors' degree in Business and needed to put some $ in my pocket real bad! Nothing else was hiring and if they were, they never called ME! When i lost my job three months ago (employer problems), it killed me because i was going to use that to get a transfer to another state for the same job. Now, i was told that the grass is greener in Washington (State) and that's where i would probably want to go. I have people there. The only problem i have is lack of funds to go there. Does anybody know where i can get a grant, or someone who knows how to write one. Just some $ because it's crazy for me right now!
