I need to make some extra money to help pay my bills. Currently I work an 8 to 5 job and have two children-11years old and 10 months. I am in desprate need of some additional income. I can not get a second job with my children. Having my children in daycare is one of the reasons why I need additional income. Does anyone know of a work at home job that I can do to help me get back on my feet again? I can not afford a big out of pocket expense to obtain this job either. If you know of anything please let me know.

I am currently working at a job that I love but hate my boss and the things that go on around here. I make somewhat good money. I don't have to work but I choose to. I am unhappy and wanted to know what other people think. Would it be horrible of me to leave my current place of employment to go to work somewhere else? I have had a lot of interviews. Someone please give me some good advice. I am only 24yrs old and need some guidance. My husband says I should quit and look for something else but I think that it might be too early to just give up. I have only been here for 3 months.

She's sold about $30 worth of items in 2006, (none in the state of NY where we live, so she doesn't even have to pay tax on those sales..right?) Yet we have lots of expenses we go through for this "home business" that she's started, (heat, electric, phone, etc..)
she keeps all the transactions seperate by using (paypal). so i shouldn't have a problem filing a schedule C right?? My buddies keep telling me that the law doesn't state that you "have to make money", but i feel weird stating that we only made 30 bucks and yet deduct a couple hundred in expenses...

what do you think??

My old apartment complex from a year ago apparently filed a collection against me which i just found out about today. They filed it for carpet cleaning services when i moved out. I was never contacted about this and they had my forwarding address. I have been told by the collecting agency that they attempted contact and the apartment complex said the same thing. The problem is i never received any kind of notification. My record was spotless before this and even if I do pay this off right now my record will still be dented. What should I do?

Trying to reduce the amount of tax the IRS gets because they take 1/2, and the doesn't seem right. There has got to be another way to calculate the taxes.

With compounded interest, rent is escalating 27.6% every 5 years. I need to determine what the annual rent escalation is. Please show me how you came to your answer and how compounded interest is calculated.

Ex. Rent started at $10,000 per year five years ago. It has escalated annually ever since. Current rent is $12,760 per year, 27.6% higher than five years ago. What percent did the rent increase each year?

I don't know what the deal is, every time I do anything that has to do with my credit, everywhere I go, everyone thinks that I am my sister. Our social security numbers are just 1 digit off, and we have the same last name, but I would think they would still know we're 2 different people. How do I go about letting everyone know that I am NOT my sister?
