Now that I'm in college, I'd like to open a bank account of my own, but there are so many banks in the area I'm not sure which to choose. What should I look for in a bank and how do I choose the one that's best for me? Or are they all the same?

I was eating in a little restaurant when a lady demanded that the employees tell her what the ingredients were in an item she ordered. They informed her they didn't know because it was a "trade secret" and the parent company wouldn't even tell them. They gave her the corporate number, but she claimed "it's the law!" (this is in California) that if and when she asks they have to tell her. Is this true? Having worked in restaurants before, I was under the belief that a consumer can ask if a certain ingredient such as an allergen is in an item, but that ingredients do not have to be disclosed.

I buy three things with my credit card it s a hsbc bank credit card my bill is 6150 i add it up. I want to know how long would it take for them to send you that bill i use it last month around the 3 week of december. my friend say that i should call them and tell them that i didn t received the bill or else they will add interest on it and probably mess up my credit i thought that they will send you the bill that y am not worry about it. should i worry or not.

I must have asked this Question to a bunch of bankers. The only answers I got were scolding. I never said I was ever charged these fees I only ask "Are you sick of be charged those outrages overdraft fee charges by the banks?" Then I went on to sate my opinion.
"I think this is against the law .It might fall under the usury act.
It only hurts the little people who can't afford to fight back .I would like to form a group to fight this abuse. Are you interested in helping?" This question became all about me and the way I run my bank account. I was not looking for a scolding from the banks and the staff that has to justify ripping off the poor people in this country. The best stupid answer I got was the bank is trying to teach us a lesson. Doesn’t mater that a large and I mean large amount of there income is derived from this ripe off fee. If you have a heart for the under paid hard working in this country lets get together and right this wrong.

My home loan is in my mothers name, but im on the deed. I pay the morgage from my bank account and the property taxes. Why cant i claim the morgage interest and im the one paying it . Why cant i claim it and i paid it the Irs is depriving me of claiming interest that i paid .It doesnt seem fair .My mother doesnt claim it because she is retired. how can i claim this doesnt seem right

No matter how much I toss I can't seem to make any headway, I am this close to just throwing it all out! It is either keep it all or toss it all. You never know what to save anymore - pefect example - we can get an income tax credit on our phone bills for the past 3 years I think...who keeps phone bills that long?!?!? This credit is for the "normal" residential customers and businesses. The normal customers usually toss bills after they've been paid, no? *ARRGH*

I got a credit card offer in the mail from Master Card saying I can get 0% APR on all transfered balances for 15 months. I want to transfer 2 credit card balances on this card. Are there any secrets I dont' know or fees that I'm not aware of. Because to my understanding, that means I'll have a flat balance with no interest on it, so I just pay on the balance, no interest. Is that right?

I have my credit card number and routing number stored on my ebay seller financial info, but how can i retrieve that number?
If i hit edit, it clears everything and i cannot retrieve anything.
I have misplaced my credit card for right now and i would like to know if anyone knows how i can retrieve it becasue it says card number XXXXXXXXXXXXX and it wont let me see it

I am 37yrs old and I still live in my parents basement. I have been tryin to get a job at the lock SUPER WAL MART for 7yrs. Every time i apply and tell them I want to be a pharmacist they toss my application out. Why won't they fess up and acknowledge that their pharmacists are walmart employees just like the guys who scrape the gum off the parking lot ? I have waited 7 yrs to be a wal mart pharmacist and they just dont want to give me a chance. I told the manager in the interview that i already bought my own white coat, so if that was an issue....they need not worry because I am prepared mentally as well as psychologically and psychosocially. Who do i need to tell about wal mart descriminating against me ? please help !

I am in Singapore. This is equivalent to my 1 year's pay. Document can be shown to substantiate my annual pay, and monthly pay. My credit history is perfect. I always pay my 6 credit card bills promptly and in full. I don't have credit debt. I don't have a car. I have very little assets. I live very simply. I need S$30,000 for a business venture started with friends. What is your interest rate? What is the monthly rest.? This is ULTRA-URGENT!!! I need it for the cashflow by 25th JAN 2007 LATEST!! Don't ask me to go to banks, I can't secure S$30,000 from banks. By now you should know what I am looking for. If your offer is reasonable, and my business can be sustained and I can repay you, then it would be good news for me! Otherwise..... :-(
