The guy who worked before me had a specific job to do today and he barely put a dent in it. The next shift(which is me) usually picks up the slack from his shift. He didn't even try to do it at all though really. I know his day wasn't very eventful judging by the schedule. Should I leave it for him to do tommorow seeing as how he is wrong for this or should I do his work and mine? I don't wanna make anyone too upset. I don't wanna go to the boss with it either.
What would you do?

Whats the best way to file tax returns for the following scenario -
married but living seperately because of the job. I live in WA state, with no state tax however my spouse lives in another state which does have state tax. I pay mortgage however my spouse rents. My spouse had to move because of the job. I think we can get some benefit of that.

Ok... Here it goes... We live in Indiana, and are filing bankrupty and letting the house go because we can't afford it because my husband lost his highpaying job due to an injury...so we are downsizing and getting an apartment. Anyways, my mother in law told me that since we are filing bankruptcy in the winter time, we are required by law to keep the utilities on to keep the pipes from freezing.. Is that true or is she nuts?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

In the publications I've read, it said for sole shareholders of an s-corporation NOT to deduct health insurance premiums pre-tax from their payroll checks. However, I am working on our 2006 taxes and don't see where we will claim this medical insurance expense. Am I just missing something obvious? Where do I report this ... and I'm pretty sure it's not combine with "medical expense" because we don't have to reach the 7.25% of AGI threshhold.

We have an employee who has been with us for about three months now and is only working at about half the productivity of the other employees and has shown no signs of improvement. It's costing us money to have this person work for us, so they really have to go.

How should we go about doing it? Any small business owners or anyone else with appropriate experience at this have any tips? Thanks.

I'm moving out this summer. I'm contemplating on having a roommate (of course we will have our separate rooms) or just renting a private room in a house. Just curious, what would be your advice?
