A few weeks ago I saw a job that I am pefect for. I have taken the following steps.

1. I submitted a cover letter and resume via the companies website.

2. I wanted to snail mail my resume to a recruiter at the company, so I did some research and found the name of a recruiting supervisor. I then snail mailed my resume and cover letter to the recruiting supervisor.

It's been a few weeks now and I've heard nothing back from the company or the recruiting supervisor. I'm thinking of giving the recruiting supervisor a call and asking her when they are planning to start scheduling interviews.

What do you think, should I make the call? Please keep in mind that the recruiting supervisor never listed her name on the job posting and I found her purely via my own research.

My thought is that I have nothing to lose.


I've done some research and have found the contact information for one of the companies local recruiting managers. I snail mailed a copy of my resume to the manager

Here is the problem. I loved my job, but the owner decided about 6 months ago to bring his wife in to be office manager. Needless to say, she is worthless as far as a manager goes, and she shouldn't be one. She is never here, so nothing gets done that she is supposed to be doing, and no one gets their questions answered. Therefore, the company is going downhill fast and I no longer like my job. Is there a way I can talk to the owner about this even though it is his wife that I am complaining about? Please help!

do you need to put all jobs even temp jobs on your resume or hired in jobs? I have had a few jobs that I have either been laid off or quit because they were temp to hire. Do I need to put them all on my resume or just a few. my resume is looking pretty bad when i put 8 jobs on there that most were only 2-3 month assignment.

I don't want to be the next Madonna, but my goals are to be a writer, screen writer, director, photographer, somewhere in their. Is it hard to become those?? And if I do make it in that industry can I be able to live off of my salary?

I need to get involved with some activism in that area as I can't stand the way my portion of taxes are being used and a lowered set of various taxations would be a great help to every American......Thanks in advance. I have an idea for a clothing line that would appeal mostly to teens (esp goths and gamers) and young adults. I would like to start selling on a website (or maybe even just eBay) but how do I go about getting the first run manufactured at a price low enough to still make a profit without charging an arm and a leg. A few years ago I was able to establish a stock ticker scrolling across the screen and giving up to date changes in stock prices during the day. I don't know what happened but it disappeared. How can I re-establish it. It was a great tool.I had downloaded this feature from your website.

I have two options that I qualify for and was curious if anyone knew anything about either of them.

The first option being the HomeChoice Program which offers a lower interest rate for 1st time homebuyers with a disability.

The other would be a 40 year fixed loan with down payment assistance up to 3% of the purchase price.

I droped out of high school when i was 17 because of my friend...well at least i thought he was....he found out i was gay and ended up making up all these stories...that i would hit on him or i would try and touch him and so on....but it just got to a point where i just couldt handle it so i dropped out ....now live with parents, no job , low selfesteem / lack self confidence, and am constantly thinking about what other people are saying or think of me ....I'm just a mess...i need help........ I know Allstate wont and I know Farmers wont. Its a Felony Drug charge. If you work for an Insurance company and you can sell Life insurance for someone with a Felony Drug charge please let me know the name of the company.
