Once I open an e-mail on my office computer, are the contents of it saved onto the computer? What about other e-mails that I have not opened? Should I not read/write personal e-mails at work?
**I'm NOT talking about the office e-mail; I'm talking about my personal Yahoo! e-mail account.

We were understaffed at work today (waitress) and I had to clean and restock more than half the store's dressings and tables. So they cut me second. We were pretty dead, and I only had three tables (One had eight people, five small children)
They tell me my side work late at night, and then they change my side work halfway making me do extra stations. When I get finished with my work, I rolled ALL of the stores silverware and I vacuumed the whole store. As I'm rolling silverware, by myself, the head waitress walks over to me and tells me what a bad job I'm doing, that I need to help more with other people's orders and that I need to start my side stations early. (Early on it's hard to tell how many people are going to come in the store, so if I take my dressings away it will be futile.) So after she gives me some "pointers" she walks away. She spent all day just talking to people, never helping out herself. In my eyes, I was being complained at for not picking up other people's work

Be warned this is another "Loan Scam"! Formerly they went under the name "Choice Lending" in Ontario. They are using web site http://www.pcral.com/ to net victims. They want deposit sent western union and claim 24hrs to deposit loan. Loan doc is a .pdf with pics of cash, loan amount, & rate – nothing else – my first flag something fishy! They want money sent to an individual “Stacy Patterson” – my second flag! Watch out for other names Elizabeth Jefferies, Langston Bailey, Abby Mckay. Where/whom can I contact to report this? Is there a place to report attempted fraud?

How can I research whether another business exists with the same name that I want to use, and if one does, but is in a different state than I am in, does it matter? Example: If I want to name my business "John Doe's Business" and I live in Louisiana, and there is a "John Doe's Business" in Florida, would that make any difference? I just need some input and guidance. Thanks!

My husbands aunt, deeded a home to us, but it will not be officially in our name until her passing, however we have already renovated the home and moved into it. (it is on her property). Can we deduct any of the money we spent on fixing this house up. The papers leaving the house and land to my husband have been notorized and copies have been given to the remaining members of the family. Looking over the reciepts, we figure we have spent around ten thousand dollars on it so far.

I have a PC case sealed in its original box that needs to be delivered via ups. I don't have another box to put it into. Is it okay by ups standards to ship it in the original box - without trying to cover up the manufacturers pics and info? It was delivered to me by DHL in this condition so I was wondering if it was okay for me to ship via UPS this way?? I hope that makes sense. Thanks.

ive been working this company for more than 3 years already. ive learned a lot and have realized my capabilities which i never knew i can do. but now, the company has reached to the point of stream lining. i havent gotten a raise for over 2 years now but the company pays for my masteral course which i treated as a raise already. just recently, the managing director met with us (the working group) and explained to us that we need to push the on-going projects in order for us to get the salary we wanted. im ok with that but financial difficulties are making me think twice and pushing me to try my luck with other companies. i've loved the people and the company as my family. but with the situation now, im torn and it feels heavy that im being pushed to go out and find another work. any advise will be greatly appreciated.

We are a small non profit organization. I hold a senior level management position which could be eliminated. The organization is projected to lose over $1 million this year. They have asked for suggestion on eliminating positions. I currently have other job offers but would like a decent sererance package as I will go without insurance etc for 3 months and I will have to relocate.
