I was evicted from my apartment because of non-payment of rent. I recieved papers fom my leasing agent saying that if I didn't pay the amount specified that I would get evicted. I moved out of my apartment two days laters.1 week later my landlord came to physically evict mr from the unit, but I was already out. Now my stuff was in my neighbors apartment and I was storing it there until I could move it so it was there for a few days.My landlords found out it was there and took my stuff from my neighbors apartment saying that it wasn't allowed to be there. Well I didn't go to court and it wouldn't of mattered because I wouldn't of been able to come up with the money to stay there. Now I found out from Housing Court that there was never an unlawful detainer filed against me. In Minnesota that is $350 so basically they were going to rip me off for that amount. Til this day they say I owe them that money. What I want to know is that even qualified as a unlawful detainer?

I'm new to learning about personal finance. I keep reading stuff like "If you save 1000 a year in 15 years you'll have [this much] assuming you get an 8% return"

How to I find a good return? How do I learn how to investigate stocks? Any ideas? (By the way, don't limit it to 8%, if you know how to get a 15% return, please share!)

I do computer work for friends and family. I get paid most of the time. Last year I made about 300.00. I know thats not much, but I would like to start a Corporation because I hear that there are many tax advantages to it.

I would also like to start advertising my services. I am in the state of NY. I have a job (running my bosses business for him - and I do a very good job of it).

I also own part of an S corp (My boss gave me 10 percent of the shares), and at the end of the year I get a 10% what we made for the year.

What kind of corporation do you think would be best for me? I hear an S corp is the best. Is that true?

I want to go to school But my credit is bad which is keeping me from getting an education to get a better job to support my self and my three children and to be able to pay my bills. I have a dead end job and I want a carrer ! But I need to get training in a different field. I am an ambition and hard working mother. I am married but my husband will not give me any money at all. I am not allowed to have access to finances. So I want to be able to someday get out on my own to support me and my children. I want a carrer in film and tv and one day do some acting. But I need to go to school.

The rest of the 90% of the donated clothing is sold to textile and recycling institutions.

According to various estimates, here's what happens to your clothing giveaways. In most cases, a small amount of the items, the best quality castoffs — less than 10 percent of donations -- are kept by the charitable institutions and sold in their thrift shops to other Americans looking for a bargain. These buyers could be people who are hard up, or they could be folks who like the idea of a good deal on a stylish old item that no longer can be found in regular stores.

The remaining 90 percent or more of what you give away is sold by the charitable institution to textile recycling firms. Bernard Brill, of the Secondary Recycled Textiles Association, told ABC News: "Our industry buys from charitable institutions, hundred of millions of dollars worth of clothing every year."

So, at this point, the charity you have donated clothes to has earned money off of them in two ways — in their shops and by selling to recyclers. Then the recycler kicks into high gear. Most of the clothes are recycled into cleaning cloths and other industrial items, for which the recyclers say they make a modest profit.

I have an interview in the morning and I haven't had but tonight to prepare my resume. I'm stuck on the objective... I don't know what to put. When the woman (from the staffing agency) explained it to me on the phone it sounds like a personal assistant or administrative assistant position but I can't be sure until tomorrow morning. I know Objectives are suppose to be clear but I don't have a clear idea of the job I'm applying for... what do I do??

Never own a credit card before and I only know that you can't pay a house payment with a credit card. I've really been using my debit card all my life. Will greatly appreciate it if ya'll let me know what kind of bills I pay with a credit card and what I can't, like medical bills and traffic tickets, etc. I should talk to a credit card companys right now and ask them questions but I hate it when they try and talk you into getting one right away. anyways, thanks for the help

All unleashed dogs will attack and frighten sheep on land with public acess under the right to roam. This is causing a major problem on the downs because the cattle destroy the habitat. But the public will not control their dogs and the farmer cannot be there all the time to shoot the dogs down. The Russian sheep guard dogs are much too dangerous. Can a Lllama protect against a three pronged attack by a couple of Terriers and a German Shepherd Dog?
