my best friends daughter has a credit card that had been applied for and she is 15 how much trouble could she get into i tried talking to her but she wouldnt listen to me

Yes she can, it is called FRAUD...no one under 18 can legally apply for there own credit card.

She won't get into much trouble if she uses it legally. Actually a minor can't enter into a legal contract so even if she didn't use it correctly the people who issued it to her issued incorrectly. That is unless she committed fraud in acquiring it by lying about her age.

If she applied for this card and lied about her age, that is called fraud and she would be in big trouble.

I had a credit card when I was 15, as long as she apys it she should be fine.
