You may. I suggest that you find a way to cover the check and the charges. It also depends on the amount of the NSF check. They can file charges and you will be put in jail. I live in TX and my neighbor is a County Officer and they do go and find you. You would also have a hard time renewing your TX DL.

No. If you got it at one of those payday advance loans places, They will try to debit your account. However, tell them you need to extended what your owe them. Some will allow you to do this for two more weeks. This way maybe your checks won't bounce. Also, some banks give your overdraft protection. The bank will give you 30 days to pay all back plus the NSF fees before taking collection action.

We don't have debtor's prison. If you wrote checks KNOWING that the account was closed or that there was no money to cover them, then you might be guilty of "theft by check"

In most cases, a bounced check is collected by the local DA. If you don't pay up eventually they might haul you to jail, but you will be charged and then let go...

Not unless you show a pattern of abusing this service. You account will most likely go to collections or you can call the company and work out some type of payment arrangement with them.

It is possible that a bench warrant can be issued for fraud. You need to speak to your bank, they will have financial advisors there that can tell you the bank policy. If you are making a good faith effort (ie making payments) then they will have no reason.

Don't go to the cash advance place anymore, it is a scam.
Good luck I hope it works out. $$ problems suck.
