this is a question that could fill volumes. Dry bulk refers to anything that is transported as "dry Bulk" could be seeds, grain, fertilizer, flour, salt, lime, calcium, cement..the list goes on and on. Typically, they are transport in Hopper bottom rail cars or transport trailers, though some are transported in "pneumatic" transdport trailers which requires air pressure to force the ultra dry product out of the trailer. In this situation, the product is forced out ot the trailer, though a series of hoses to where it is wanted. it pretty well acts like a liquid when it's under pressure os it is easy to move this way. Dump trucks are also used to transport.
