I tried to quit but he didn't want me too. He asked me to work just Friday nights. I like him and his family and wanted to be helpful so I said ok. I work only friday nights. But now he tries to call me in every week and I'm getting tired of coming up with excuses when I just wanted to quit in the first place. Any help ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

This question is pertaining to becoming a nurse. I know several youth (14-17) which are interested in advancing in the medical feild once they get older. Is there a program in which they can attend (somewhat of a "youth college course") that certifies them? (with the expception of a vocational high-school).

I know that most likely this is impossible and does not exist - however, I do not know everything :). Thanks in advanced!

I know that when buying stuff at the counter i can use the credit option, then the merchant will place a hold on my fund.
then few days later they will officially deduct the amount.

now my question is:
say i have $100 in my check account.

day 1: I want to buy a $90 dollar item at one place with credit.
go to another shop to buy a $50 dollar item.
day 2: deposit money to cover all the charges.
day 3: those merchants deduct the money and i'm fine.

the thing is on day 1, would my card still work at the second shop?
I've already used $90 and dont have enough money for the $50, would the card still go through with the credit option?
how fast do they put the hold, and is the holded money still spentable?

I'm thinking of finishing my degree online. Is it worth it? Should I go back to school? I would, but it's really hard for me to do. An online degree would be great, but just how valid is it?

When I looked at this apartment the landlord said that he still had some work to do on it before I moved in. That evening we signed the "rental agreement" and I paid rent, deposit, etc. Because the landlord lives in Los Angeles and wasn't sounding very sure about when I would be able to get the keys for move in, he gave a set that night. After checking with him I went into the unit to make sure it was clean..........I have since painted, cleaned the carpets 5 times, put new tile floors in the bathroom and kitcken, installed ceiling fans in 3 rooms, repaired faulty/ leaky plumbing, installed motion sencor lights at the front and side door, maintained the flower bed, redone the grout and caulking in the kitchen and bathrom tiles , installed a new bathroom faucet, replaced a toilet that broke, among other necessary repairs and improvements. Many of the above named issues I voluntarily chose to do for my own comfort and do not expect to get reimbursed for. But I went from paying $495 to

I am in sales and have had a few jobs in my time. The last few were horrible and I started to notice a trend. Everytime I wanted to leave an organization, I was working for a woman. I was a producer, I worked well with others, I didn't blatently kiss my female bosses *** but didn't ignore her. The female manager just didn't get along with me for some reason. Now I work for a man and things have been great. My boss is almost like a friend of mine. But, things change. It is my understanding that my boss is being promoted. Good for him, but they are bringing another woman in to take his place. I don't want to repeat history and I'm a little nervous. What should I do?

Ok, I'm planning to send my first payment on a settlement offer a collection office has arranged with me for a past due debt(pending two details). They are also waiving the interest.

Everyone I've spoken to, says they've never heard of a collection office providing such a generous amount of time to pay off a past due debt, with such low monthly payments($50).

Have others been offered arrangements like this, and after the debt was paid, that was the end of it? Or is it just that people who have had bad experiences with collectors speak the loudest and most often which makes this arrangement seem unusual?

This debt is four years old, and the SOL is 10 years. However, as long as I'm making payments as scheduled, the agreement says there will be no action to sue or sell the account. By the way, I hope to pay off the debt in 5-7 years, though the written agreement gives me much longer.
