I don't know that there are any successful quick-honest-cash type schemes but....
Whatever your hobbies or other interests, you can create websites that would be of value to those who share those interests. Keep adding value to your website, increasing readership, and use ads, like googleads, to make an income from it.
Create a weekly or monthly newsletter that would be of value to others. As your readership increases, sell ad space to sponsors.
Look at what you already do for fun and figure out how you can start making money by continuing to do it....

Home office job with a brick and mortor company. Disney and At&T hire lots of home workers, but there are hundreds of others.
