This question is pertaining to becoming a nurse. I know several youth (14-17) which are interested in advancing in the medical feild once they get older. Is there a program in which they can attend (somewhat of a "youth college course") that certifies them? (with the expception of a vocational high-school).

I know that most likely this is impossible and does not exist - however, I do not know everything :). Thanks in advanced!

Thanks for the answer SPLAT. I'm far gone and out of school now, so I can't ask my school nurse :). Thanks for the feedback though.

Back when I was in HS (Stone age), there was a group called Future Nurses. Ask your school nurse if there still is such an organization.

Also, many hospitals use volunteers called 'candy stripers'.
